Kai saw that his little brother looked uneasy. Perhaps it was because he had been abandoned for a long time, so Kirie became afraid of being abandoned again after they met.
"Kirie, it'll only take a moment!" Kai said with a smile after he finished putting on the slightly oversized shoes on his feet brought by Sir Thomas.
Kirie was still playing with his hands. He rubbed his palms like a cold person and then looked anxiously at Sir Thomas. "Sir... can I come with Kai? I won't go into the living room, I'll wait at the door!" said Kirie cautiously.
Sir Thomas looked at him for a few seconds before nodding in agreement. "That's fine, just do it. The Duchess will have no objection to it. But, don't start crying and yelling. Let alone throwing apples at the Duchess."
Thomas was indeed there when Kirie made trouble with Eleonora. And he did not hesitate to warn the almost 11-year-old boy about his past actions.
