The Curse (3)

Winter raged even more fiercely after the nobles' meeting ended. Snowdrifts suddenly became as high as the roofs of commoners' houses. There was not a single face on the streets of the capital or in the markets. 

When the beginning of winter came, people could still walk around in the markets and shops. However, the only thing people could do as the winter grew fiercer was to gather together with their families in front of the fireplace. 

The plans that Eleonora or Andrew had made before the snow covered their second-story windows had failed. And now all they can do is try hard to pass the time by reading a book or taking care of their financial plans for the next few months. 

"There's already nothing to review in the plan you submitted!" Eleonora finished.
