As YN and Jungkook drove back home, leaving their worries behind with the ocean waves, their car entered the main gate. Jimin and Alex were heading out for some work, and Alex's jaw dropped as he saw the couple together.
He nudged Jimin, whispering, "Did I miss something? A few days ago, they were at each other's throats, and now it's like they're in paradise!"
Jimin was also gazing at the pair, noticing how Jungkook was opening the door for YN.
Jimin felt a pang of guilt about his own behavior, but he was relieved to see them together again. "You missed a whole wrestling match," Jimin said to Alex with a chuckle. "You can say that all credits go to me."
Just then, Jungkook and YN approached them, hand in hand. Jungkook flashed a bright smile, while YN's eyes sparkled with happiness. The tension from earlier had dissipated, replaced by an air of tranquility and newfound love.
"Hey, guys," YN said, her voice filled with warmth. Then, she looked at Jungkook, trying to convey a message with her eyes.
Meanwhile, Alex and Jimin exchanged confused glances. Jungkook spoke to Alex, "Let him go." Alex replied with uncertainty, "Are you sure, hyung?" Jungkook glared at him, and Alex quickly went to the compound where he was being held.
With that, Jungkook and YN took a few steps towards the entrance, but YN stopped and said she wanted to have a word with Jimin. Jungkook nodded and went inside. "Jimin," YN called out, and Jimin stopped in his tracks. "What happened?" he asked, turning around.
YN stood in front of him, her eyes locked onto his. "Yesterday...," she paused for a moment, "you said, 'Sometimes, the people who are supposed to protect us are the ones who end up hurting us the most. And sometimes, the ones who seem evil on the surface are actually fighting for good.' What did you mean by this?" She looked into his eyes with curiosity.
Jimin took a deep breath, glancing around nervously. "YN...," he began, but then hesitated. "I have to go, I have some work. We'll talk about this later." With that, he quickly got into his car and drove off, leaving YN looking puzzled and concerned.
YN watched as Jimin's car sped away, her mind racing with questions. His words from the previous day echoed in her ears, stirring up a mix of confusion and unease. She couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to Jimin's statement than met the eye.
jungkook, who had been waiting inside, noticed her thoughtful expression as he approached.
"Everything okay?" he asked, his tone gentle.
YN nodded, though her brow remained furrowed.
YN hesitated, unsure of how to broach the subject. "I just talked to Jimin," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "He said something strange yesterday, and I don't know what to make of it."
jungkook's expression turned serious. "What did he say?" he asked, his eyes locked onto hers.
YN took a deep breath, trying to recall Jimin's exact words. "He said that sometimes, the people who are supposed to protect us are the ones who end up hurting us the most. And sometimes, the ones who seem evil on the surface are actually fighting for good."
Jungkook's eyes, seemed to hold a deeper understanding, as if he knew more than he was letting on.
"What do you think he meant by that?" YN asked, her eyes searching for answers.
Jungkook's gaze drifted away, his expression clouding over. "I think Jimin was trying to tell you something, but he didn't have the courage to say it outright."
YN's heart skipped a beat. "What do you mean?" YN sighed. "It's frustrating not to have a clear answer. I feel like there's something more to his words, but he left so abruptly."
Jungkook took her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.. with that jungkook said " first let's go inside" as they enter togather.YN smiled faintly. As they walked towards the entrance of the compound, YN felt a renewed sense of hope.
The house seemed to welcome them with an air of calm, a stark contrast to the chaos that had marked their recent days. The sound of laughter and conversation from inside provided a comforting backdrop as they stepped into the warmth of the living room.
As YN and Jungkook stepped into the warm glow of the living room, the atmosphere was palpable with relief and happiness.
The rest of the group, gathered together, looked up at their entrance, their faces lighting up with shock and delight.
"Well, look who finally made up," Jin teased, his voice laced with humor. "About time, too." He said, with a chuckle.
Suga, still looking a bit bewildered, shook his head in disbelief, a small smile playing on his lips and said. "We're just glad things are better now. You two really had us worried. So, are you still thirsty for each other's blood, or did you sort things out?"
YN's smile was radiant, her eyes sparkling with a sense of freedom she hadn't felt in a long time. Jungkook's hand found hers, giving it a reassuring squeeze, as he nodded in agreement. "It's a start, and that's enough for now," he said, his voice low and gentle.
J-Hope nodded vigorously, his eyes shining with amusement. "Seriously, you two were driving us crazy," he exclaimed, his voice full of relief.
RM, always the voice of reason, leaned forward, his expression thoughtful. "We're just glad you're both okay," he said, his voice calm and soothing. "Relationships are hard, but it looks like you're on the right track..... okay Let bygones be bygones "
Just then, Alex emerged from the compound, Taehyung perched on his hip. "YN," Taehyung called out, his small voice piercing the air, as YN turned to look at him.
Her heart swelled with joy, seeing him free and unharmed, and she took a step forward, her arms open wide to hug him.
But Jungkook was quicker, his eyes flashing with a possessive intensity. He pulled YN towards him, his arms wrapping around her waist, holding her close.
YN was caught off guard, her body pressed against Jungkook's chest, as he tried to shield her from Taehyung's outstretched arms. It was clear that jealousy was a disease that had taken hold of him, and it would take more than just a few words to cure it.
As YN struggled to free herself from Jungkook's grasp, her eyes locked onto Taehyung's, a mixture of apology and longing written across her face. Taehyung's eyes, however, were fixed on Jungkook, a hint of understanding and wariness etched on his features.
"Hey, it's okay," Taehyung said softly, his voice a gentle breeze on a summer day. "I'm just glad to see you safe and sound, YN."
YN's heart skipped a beat as she heard Taehyung's words, her mind racing with the implications. She knew that Jungkook's anger was a fragile thread, one that could snap at any moment, and she didn't want to be the one to trigger it.
But as she looked up at Jungkook, she saw the possessiveness in his eyes, the way he was holding her close, as if daring anyone to take her away from him. It was a look that sent shivers down her spine.
Suga, being the calm and collected one, approaches Jungkook and YN, his eyes fixed on the intense gaze between the two. He clears his throat to get their attention, his deep voice calm and soothing.
"Hey, Jungkook, I think you can let her go now. You're not going to suffocate her, are you?" Suga says with a hint of amusement, trying to lighten the mood.
jin gently places a hand on Jungkook's shoulder, his was reassuring. Jungkook looked at her. "YN, are you okay?" he asked, his voice gentle but tinged with worry.
YN's gentle touch on Jungkook's arm was a calming balm to his frazzled nerves. "Hm, yeah,". then she whispered, her voice soft and soothing. Then, she leaned in closer, her breath tickling his ear, and whispered, "Mr. Jeon, you can leave me now."
J-Hope, noticing the slight flush on Jungkook's cheeks, couldn't resist a teasing comment. "Hey, Jungkook, are you blushing?" he said with a grin. "Never thought I'd see the day."
Jungkook's ears turned a deeper shade of red as he mumbled firmly, "I'm not blushing." His denial only seemed to make his face grow hotter, and YN couldn't help but giggle at the sight. Suga raised an eyebrow, amused by the exchange, while Jin patted Jungkook's shoulder reassuringly.
Jin and Suga exchanged a glance, sensing the need for privacy. "Why don't we all give them some space?" Jin suggested, his voice warm. "We can catch up later.
