Episode 5: A Glimpse Beyond the Field

The Oakwood University football team is practicing on the field. The sun is high, casting a golden glow over the lush green grass as players run drills and execute plays under Roman's watchful eye.

Roman, the captain of the team, is in his element, leading the practice with authority. His black hair glistens with sweat, and his green hunter eyes are focused and intense. He barks commands, pushing his teammates to their limits.

Roman: "Come on, guys! Push harder! We need to be ready for the next game!"

The team responds with renewed effort, driven by Roman's leadership and the fear of disappointing him. His presence is commanding, and everyone knows he's the backbone of their success.

As the practice continues, Roman's attention is momentarily diverted by a movement at the edge of the field. He glances over and notices a girl sitting under a tree, completely engrossed in a book. It's Lily, oblivious to the world around her, lost in the pages of her fantasy novel.

Roman (V.O.): "Who's that? She seems so... different."

Roman's gaze lingered on Lily, her light brown hair catching the sunlight. She's wearing tight jeans and a white t-shirt, looking effortlessly comfortable and serene. There's a peaceful aura about her that contrasts sharply with the intense energy on the field.

Roman's distraction doesn't go unnoticed. One of his teammates, Alex, nudges him playfully.

Alex: "Hey, captain, you seem a bit distracted. Something, or someone, caught your eye?"

Roman snaps back to attention, his cold demeanor returning.

Roman: "Focus on the game, Alex. We've got work to do."

But despite his words, Roman finds his eyes drifting back to Lily. She's still deeply immersed in her book, completely unaware of the attention she's drawing from the star player.

The coach blows the whistle, signaling the end of practice. The players disperse, heading towards the locker rooms. Roman takes his time, his mind still on the girl under the tree. He watches as she turns a page, completely absorbed.

Coach: "Good job today, Roman. Keep this up, and we'll crush North Ridge next week."

Roman: "Thanks, Coach."

As Roman heads towards the locker room, he glances back one last time. This time, Lily looks up from her book, their eyes meeting for a brief, intense moment. There's an inexplicable connection, a spark that Roman had never felt before. He feels a strange sting in his heart, something entirely new and unsettling.

In the locker room, Roman showers and changes in silence, his mind replaying the brief encounter. His teammates chat and joke around, but Roman is unusually quiet, lost in thought.

Teammate 1: "Hey Roman, you're coming to the party tonight?"

Roman: "Maybe. I've got some things to take care of."

Teammate 2: "You're always so mysterious, man. Lighten up a bit!"

Roman forces a smile, but his thoughts are still on Lily. He finishes changing and leaves the locker room, the noise of his teammates fading behind him.

As night falls, Roman walks through the campus, heading towards his dorm. He passes by the spot where Lily was reading earlier, but she's gone now. The tree stands alone, the memory of her presence lingering.

Roman (V.O.): "Why can't I get her out of my head? She's just another girl... isn't she?"

He shakes off the thoughts and heads back to his dorm, determined to focus on his studies and football. But deep down, he knows something has shifted.

Roman sitting at his desk, sketchpad open but untouched. He stares out the window, the image of Lily reading under the tree replaying in his mind. The title card appears: "Until I Found You".
