Roman (V.O.): "Come on, Roman. Get it together. She's just another girl."

Roman tries to strike up conversations with the surrounding girls, but his attempts fall flat. His mind keeps wandering back to Lily, her image burned into his thoughts.

Girl: "Is everything okay, Roman? You seem distracted."

Roman forces a smile, trying to shake off the feeling of being trapped in his own mind.

Roman: "Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired, I guess."

Lily's presence in the room is like a magnetic force, pulling at Roman's attention. He finds himself studying her—her focused expression, the way she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear—and feels a pang of longing deep in his chest.

Roman (V.O.): "Why can't I stop thinking about her? This is ridiculous."

Ethan, noticing Roman's distraction, nudges him with a knowing smirk.

Ethan: "You've got it bad, huh?"

Roman rolls his eyes, but there's no denying the truth in Ethan's words.

Roman: "It's nothing. Just a passing fancy."

As the afternoon wears on, Lily gathers her things and prepares to leave. Roman watches her go, a sense of loss settling in his chest.

Roman (V.O.): "I should say something. Anything. But what?"

Roman hesitates, torn between the desire to reach out to Lily and the fear of revealing too much of himself. By the time he gathers the courage to speak, she's already gone, slipping through his fingers like smoke.

Roman: "Damn it."
