Back at the royal blacksmith workshop, it was time for Broken to finish his creations. Six weeks had passed since he first started on his work. With great care, he had crafted ten items, leaving them nearly complete. He had decided to add the final touches to all of them at once.
Finally, the day came to see everything come together and find out the quality of his work.
On that day, all the blacksmiths in the workshop were on hand, watching him closely while keeping a respectful distance so as not to disrupt his concentration. They were eager to see the results of his efforts, their curiosity growing over the past few weeks. Almost everyone at the workshop had been talking about him and his dedication.
"Do you think he can craft high-grade items successfully?" one of the blacksmiths whispered.
"I doubt it," another replied skeptically. "We craft dozens of items successfully every day. What makes him so special compared to the rest of us?"
