"Do you know anything about the Demons?" Iveth asked.

"Demons? Yeah, I've heard of them," Broken replied, deliberately vague, despite having fought and defeated two Named Demons himself.

Iveth let out a frustrated click of her tongue. "We have reason to believe there's been movements near the capital. Possibly some portals used to summon demons."

This was exactly what Maylock, Elincia, and the others had warned about: the threat of the demon's assault on the capital.

"You're saying there might be an attack soon?" 

Iveth gave a slow nod. "We can't afford to let Lady Aerin return to the capital. It would be too dangerous for her."

"Do you know where these portals are? Or when the attack might happen?"

Iveth shook her head. "Not exactly. There could be more than just a few portals. We've destroyed the ones we've found so far, but I don't know how many more are out there," she admitted.
