Caspian and Serese's faces contorted further with indignation at Tyron's words. Serese's voice rose in pitch, laced with frustration.

"You think you can just exclude us? We are still Elias's family, and we deserve respect! Now we missed the opportunity to meet Lorian! If only not for you!"

Tyron's expression hardened. "Respect is earned, seers. And after your involvement in Elias's kidnapping, you've earned none from us. We're just being civil because as you said, you are Elias's family."

Caspian stepped forward, his tone threatening. "You have no right to judge us. We were only trying to protect Elias from your manipulative ways!" he reasoned out loud.

"Protect him?" Allyza's eyes flashed with anger, but she kept her voice steady. It was the first that she'd ever act like this. "By taking him away without our knowledge?" she scoffed out loud and shook her head.

Their shamelessness was making her impatient.
