A low, sinister hum filled the air.

Walter's body glowed with dark energy, distorting the very space around him. The heat radiating from him was almost suffocating.

Suri's sharp gaze remained unreadable.

[Miss Suri, his energy levels are spiking.] Aurora's voice crackled in her earpiece.

Walter caught her ankle.

And then—

BOOM!

He swung her like a rag doll, slamming her into the ground and causing the floor to crack beneath the impact.

Suri gritted her teeth, pain flaring through her body.

Walter wasn't done. He didn't want to.

He yanked her up—

BAM!
