Music filled the hallways long before they even got close enough to hear the chatter. Light spilled from every open doorway, guards stationed at every entrance. Laughter, booze, and food moved through the room freely, and spilled into the hallway as well. Artie was surprised to notice that a small garden was just off of the ballroom, but at the same time, was quite happy to see it.
"Are there any balconies for privacy as well?" Artie asked Sir Lancelot as they approached and he turned, giving her a look.
"What? Already planning to whisk someone away to one? King Artie." He chastised and Artie narrowed her gaze at him.
"No! I was thinking for when I needed a break from all of this." Artie gestured widely to the jovial atmosphere and he threw his head back and laughed.
