Ruin Exploration

After making some preparations for the ruin exploration, he left his clan's territory. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, a feeling that accompanied him as he made his way to the designated departure point.

With a deep breath, he activated his Dao abilities, skills that he honed to perfection upon reaching the God-Emperor realm.

The world around him seemed to blur and distort as he broke through the fabric of the Divine Radiance Realm.

Colors melded together in a dazzling display, and for a brief moment, he was neither here nor there, suspended in the void between destinations.

The sensation was exhilarating, a testament to the immense power he now wielded.

In an instant, he materialized at the location of the ancient ruin, the air crackling with residual energy from his spatial jump.

He took a moment to survey his surroundings, feeling the thrill of adventure course through his veins. The ruin lay before him, shrouded in mystery and the whispers of forgotten secrets.

'It's really easy to travel after getting to The God-Emperor realm.'

He was astonished at his speed, which transcended space, time, and myriad realms to travel nearly infinite distances instantaneously even in the Divine Radiance realm.

The sensation of moving through the cosmos at such an extraordinary pace was exhilarating. It was as if the barriers between dimensions dissolved before his eyes, granting him the ability to traverse the vast expanses of reality with a mere thought.

Just as he reached his destination, he spotted a myriad of races gathered there. Beings of various shapes, sizes, and forms populated the area, each exuding a unique aura that marked their distinct origins.

Some had luminescent skin that glowed like the stars, others possessed intricate patterns and runes etched into their bodies, and a few even had ethereal wings that shimmered in the ambient light.

After looking at so many races in one place, he thought about the Divine Radiance realm and the myriad of races in it.

The expanse of the Divine Radiance realm harbored an uncountable multitude of races, all vying for supremacy.

Despite the immense diversity, a few races stood atop all others: the Dragon Race, Phoenix Race, and other Mythical Beasts; Humans, Celestials, Spiritual Beasts, Valkyries, Elf Race, Dwarven Race, and some others.

Each of these dominant races had carved out their legacies, their power, and their influence felt throughout the realm.

The Dragons, with their ancient wisdom and immense power, commanded respect and fear.

The Phoenixes, eternal and reborn from their ashes, symbolized unending renewal and resilience.

More Divine Beasts of various kinds roamed the realm, their prowess, and divine abilities setting them apart.

Humans, known for their adaptability and ingenuity, had forged powerful empires and achieved remarkable feats of cultivation.

The Celestials, beings of immortal lineage, embodied celestial order and arrogance.

Spiritual Beasts, creatures of immense spiritual power, served as both allies and adversaries to those who sought their favor or feared their wrath.

The Valkyries, warrior maidens of unparalleled combat skill, stood as guardians of justice and valor.

Elves, with their deep connection to nature and ancient magic, cultivated harmonious societies hidden within enchanted forests.

The Dwarves, master craftsmen, and builders, constructed marvels that stood the test of time, their works a testament to their unmatched skill.

Every individual hovered in mid-air; their gazes fixed upon the abyssal portal suspended before them.

The portal was a swirling vortex of darkness, emanating an eerie, otherworldly glow that cast long shadows across the gathering.

It evoked a chilling feeling in whoever looked at it, a sense of foreboding and mystery that sent shivers down the spines of even the bravest souls.

The air was thick with tension and anticipation, as everyone present understood the significance of the portal. It was a gateway to unknown realms, promising both unimaginable treasures and unspeakable dangers.

The myriad races had gathered not just out of curiosity, but driven by the pursuit of power, knowledge, and the chance to cement their place in the hierarchy of the Divine Radiance realm.

The presence of so many powerful beings in one place created a palpable energy, a convergence of auras that crackled like lightning in the atmosphere.

Each race, each individual, was here to prove their worth, to claim what lay beyond the abyssal portal for their own.

This was a rare moment of convergence, where the destinies of countless beings intertwined, their fates bound to the mysteries and challenges that awaited on the other side.

After scanning the area, he spotted his friend Han Ming nestled in a corner. While approaching him, he realized a few other friends accompanied Han Ming.

The other friends have been together with them for a long time now and have been to many different realms and ruins. So, their bond was akin to that of brothers bound by life and death.

Closing the distance, he greeted them with a teasing smile.

"Everyone has gathered here but none of you are looking for your big brother here?"

Everyone looked over at him. There were 4 people gathered together. Han Ming from the Han clan, Zhang Wei from the Zhang clan, Wang Tao and Mu Lin from Nine-Heaven Sword Sect.

Everyone was a long-time friend so they also replied back in a teasing voice. Han Ming said with a slightly teasing voice.

"We all thought that young master Yuan must be busy in seclusion so we gathered here, never would I have thought that you would make time out of your seclusion to join us here."

Everyone else agreed on that and laughed while saying.

"It's truly a rare occasion for young master Yuan to join us on this ruin exploration."

"That's right, it's really a miracle that Brother Yuan came out of seclusion just for us."

Mu Lin chuckled at their antics but refrained from commenting

Ling Tian just shook his head at their teasing and laughed before saying.

"That's enough you bastards, otherwise this young master won't spare a single one of you."

Everyone looked at each other and laughed for a while before Ling Tian said.

"Alright, enough jokes. So, have you guys gathered any news about the ruin, and who will be participating in it with us this time?"

Everyone stopped laughing when the topic of ruins and the participants came up and the mood became grave. Mu Lin started speaking about what they had gathered so far.

"Brother Yuan, we have gathered the news about both ruins and the participants and there is one bad news and one good news. Which do you want to hear first?"

Towards the end, his voice has a hint of teasing in it. Ling Tian kicked him in the butt but he dodged it and laughed before turning serious and speaking.

"The good news is that the ruin hasn't been explored before so it is still filled with treasures and dangers, and the bad news is that the people from the Jin clan have also arrived. Even the young master of that clan, Jin Qiang, has arrived here."

He spoke until here and stayed silent afterwards looking at Ling Tian's reaction. Ling Tian was frowning outwardly but inside he was thinking.

'So, what if he is the young master of the Jin clan. He is a mere God Monarch realm cultivator whereas I'm already a God Emperor. I'm afraid his ancestor has to come out if he wants to give me a good fight.'

He thought smugly to himself before a hint of killing intent flashed in his eyes and he thought.

'I shall make this ruin his burial ground to avoid future troubles."

He then released his frown and said to his friends.

"You don't have to worry about them. After all, I have already reached the God King level so he can't do anything to me now. We can explore the ruin in peace."

He smiled while explaining, everyone was astonished there and had shocked expressions which turned into admiration. But nobody noticed the look of envy that flashed through the eyes of one of them.

Ling Tian was enjoying getting flattered by his brothers. Meanwhile, on the other side, Jin Qiang and everyone from his clan were discussing about the ruins when abruptly one of his retainers spoke something to him through their divine sense.

His gaze shifted toward where Ling Tian and his friends were discussing about the ruins. His eyes revealed a poisonous look when he looked at Ling Tian and he spoke to all his companions and an elder through divine sense.

"Find a chance to finish him off while we are in the ruins. It's the best place to be the burial ground of the young master of the Yuan clan."

His companions replied collectively except the elder.

"Yes, Young Master"

After waiting for a while, everyone finally decided to enter the ruins after finalizing their preparations.

Ling Tian and his friends were in the lead as he had taken them to the front. After entering the ancient ruins, the first thing they noticed was the improved environment compared to the Divine Radiance Realm and the cave-like structure.

Wang Tao felt the change in surroundings as said

"The cultivation environment here is even much better than the top-tier cultivation places in my sect."

His voice was laced with shock as he looked around his surroundings.

Ling Tian also noticed the environment and wondered what was so special about this place that it had such a high level of cultivation grotto, and space and time were specifically clear here.

It would be too easy to comprehend them here in comparison to the Divine Radiance Realm.

They looked around for a while and headed deeper into the caves to look for opportunities. They came across many dangers while looking for opportunities.

There were many times when Zhang Wei, Wang Tao, and the others nearly died due to the traps of the ruins. Ling Tian had to save them all many times during the exploration.

Yet, amidst the perils, the opportunities they encountered proved equally rewarding.
