She quickly sat up, glancing around the room with confused eyes. Why was she inside Luca's room and on his bed? Suddenly, her head banged, and memories of the past hour flooded in. She had tried to end her life.

"What are you doing right now?" she asked him, avoiding his gaze, which had now gone from cold to hard.

"I guess you're not happy to be alive. You probably wanted to end it all to escape accountability."

She sighed. "Why am I on your bed, and why were you touching me?"

"Don't go having weird thoughts. I only helped remove a strand of hair from your face," Luca defended, hurt that she thought it was actually something else.

"I'm better now." She glanced at the bandage around her wrist before getting off the bed. "I'm going to my room. Thank you."

He didn't stop her as she hurriedly left the room. He exhaled deeply, relieved she was alright. She didn't deserve to just die peacefully, not after what she did to him.
