Problem solved

The first meeting with Mint was strange, but it became even stranger when they met her again—this time, in a local restaurant.

"Uh…" was the only thing everyone could say as they gazed at the lady in the high-collared dress that reached down to her ankles. Even under the dress were high socks and black shoes. Her hair was braided into two low pigtails, giving her an old-fashioned, almost pious look.

"Again, I'm sorry for startling everyone earlier," Mint said, dramatically placing a hand across her chest. "It seems I got so excited to meet my cousin's friends that I forgot my manners. I've reflected on it and I hope we can all start on the right foot."

For a moment, everyone could only stare at this lady in stunned silence. Those who had met her earlier were especially speechless. Meanwhile, Benjamin, who was seated around the table, had his face buried in his palms out of shame.
