Penny was reminded of the time she arrived at the Anteca correctional facility. Although she didn't have the cuffs and chains that kept the "fresh meats" in line, and Zoren was with her, she felt a very familiar sensation crawling under her skin.
Following one of the members, she looked around. There were a lot of people; some were armed, while others didn't seem like they belonged to the group. She saw a few women on the balconies, smoking, with their eyes on the two people being led inside. The men, on the other hand, were divided into two groups: those who were obviously "soldiers" because they were carrying arms, and the others who lingered in the open hallway, watching them. The latter group wore worn-out yellow shirts.
It looked like a prison, but quieter. Everyone was eyeing Penny and Zoren, no matter how far they were.
