As Tahira quickly walked away, she could feel Lady Ophelia's eyes on her, boring into her skin. She knew that she had to be more careful, that one misstep could mean disaster.
She made her way back to her chambers, her mind racing with thoughts of Lady Ophelia and the Dowager Countess's plan. She knew that she had to stay one step ahead of them, that she had to be prepared for anything.
As she walked towards the hallway she was greeted by Ariana, who was waiting for her with a look of concern on her face. "Tahira, what's going on?" Ariana asked, her voice low. "I've seen Lady Ophelia and the Dowager Countess whispering to each other, and I know they're up to no good."
Tahira sighed, rubbing her temples. "I know, Ariana," she said. "I've seen them too. But I'm not sure what they're planning. Yet."
Ariana's eyes narrowed. "We need to find out," she said. "We can't let them get the better of us."
