"Kalispel," Khan said, his voice low and serious. "I don't know what I would do without you. You've been a rock for me in these difficult times."
Kalispel's eyes locked onto Khan's, and for a moment, he thought he saw something there, something that looked almost like... hope.
"Your Majesty," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm just glad I can be of service to you. You deserve all the happiness in the world, and I want to help you find it."
Khan felt a sense of warmth towards Kalispel, but he pushed it aside. He couldn't afford to let his emotions cloud his judgment, not now, when the kingdom was still reeling from Tahira's death.
"Kalispel," Khan said, his voice firm. "I appreciate your support, but I need to focus on the kingdom right now. There's still much to be done."
Kalispel's face fell, but only for a moment. Then, she nodded, a determined look on her face.
"Of course, Your Majesty," she said. "I'll do whatever it takes to help you."
