Who is she?

The first light of day painted the sky as Albie, Mason, and Xavier arrived at the college. Albie's sleek black car turned heads as they drove onto the campus. With Albie behind the wheel, Mason in the passenger seat, and Xavier lounging in the back, they effortlessly drew the gaze of everyone around them.

"Wow, check out that car," remarked a passing student, nudging his friend. "Who do you think they are?"

Albie and Mason, newcomers to the campus, walked alongside Xavier, who had already become the most popular man in college within a week. Their striking appearances captured the attention of every passerby. Whispers followed them as they headed toward the classroom, the entire college seemingly fixated on their every move.

"Have you seen them before?" one student whispered to another as they passed by.

In the classroom, Albie and Mason found themselves in unfamiliar territory, their eyes scanning the room for a suitable place to sit.

"Where do we sit?" Mason asked, looking around the room.

"Let's take those seats at the back," Albie suggested, pointing toward the last row where Xavier had already claimed a spot.

As they settled into their seats at the back, Albie and Mason felt a sense of relief. Tired from their travels, they were uninterested in classes and focused solely on finding the person who had captured Xavier’s attention. They planned to sleep at the last bench, hidden from the teacher.

"Hope we don't stand out too much," Mason said, glancing at the curious eyes fixed on them.

"Yeah, let's just try to blend in, with books on the desk," Albie replied, dropping his bag with a sigh.

The day went by, and they attended almost all the classes, but Albie still couldn’t pinpoint the reason for Xavier’s attraction. Albie almost felt defeated until their last generic class. As the class commenced, Albie noticed Xavier's peculiar behavior.

"Hey, Xavier, that's my seat. Why are you placing your bag there?" Mason protested as he entered the classroom, drawing immediate attention.

Xavier, engrossed in his cellphone, barely glanced up. "Take another one."

"Why? I’ve been sitting at the last bench in the corner. Why do I have to move just for your bag?"

"This seat belongs to someone else. And why are you being so stubborn? Just take the last seat of the middle row."

“Aren’t you being too unreasonable?” Albie asked curiously, sensing a deeper meaning.

“Aren’t you always too nosy and stubborn?” Xavier replied, raising an eyebrow. “Take another seat. You can’t sit here for this class.”

Baffled, Albie and Mason complied, moving to the last bench of the adjacent row as directed by Xavier. It was then that Albie's keen observation finally led him to a revelation.

"Something's up with Xavier," Albie whispered to Mason as they settled into their new seats.

"Yeah, what's with all the fuss about seating?" Mason replied, equally perplexed.

The class's attention remained on the trio. Since morning, numerous pictures of them had already circulated on the college forum. Everyone's interest in them confirmed their identity. Many girls couldn’t help but feel more attracted to the trio, eager to get close to them. They knew that the previous college hunk, Kai, was already taken by Emma, and none wanted to miss their chance with the trio.

When the class heard the trio’s conversation, they instantly knew who Xavier was reserving the seat for. From the very beginning of their course, that seat had always been Emma’s. But today, Xavier was reserving it for her. They couldn't believe it. Why Emma again?

Suddenly, a surge of anger and envy coursed through the classroom. Students felt betrayed, their emotions raw and volatile. How could Emma command such loyalty from two attractive newcomers?

As they took their new seats, Albie and Mason watched with intrigue as a figure draped in a purple hoodie, cap, and mask walked into the room. The entire class’s demeanor changed, eyes glaring daggers at her. They could even hear some curse words directed at her.

While Albie and Mason frowned at the hostility, the masked girl remained nonchalant. She walked straight to Xavier’s side, ignoring the two pairs of eyes gawking at her. Emma unhurriedly took her seat beside Xavier, her movements calm and deliberate.

"Who's that with Xavier?" Mason asked Albie, leaning in closer.
