What beyond the wall?

They eventually reached the docks and took a small boat, heading to the north of Lightshore, far off where the radiation shield wall bordered the city. The journey was silent, each person lost in their thoughts, with one only one thing in common. They all kept wondering where the young man was taking them to at the expense of precious time to escape from the Vanguards. The weight of their situation pressing down on them.

“Are you taking us to the Radguard? It’s forbidden to approach the wall,” Darius said, after noticing that they were heading straight towards the imposing structure.

“Have you gone crazy? Do you know what will happen to us if they find out about this?” Neon yelled at Oliver, his voice filled with panic.

“They won’t!” Oliver replied confidently. “This is the only part of the Radguard in the entire country which is not guarded by carnage-bots.”

“Carnage-bots? What are those?” Darius asked, curiosity piqued.
