Chapter 61: Roseblood Discipline

“Life’s a stage, darling,” Bloom declared in theater and tragedy, “and I’m the lead, whether I’m playing the villain or the hero!”

He clapped both swords together—SNAP—and barked the command:

“Entangle, Kakshibara!”

His twin swords lit up with a rose-colored glow that crawled from hilt to tip and twisted. The dual swords fused with a hiss and transformed into a single staff.

It was a rod of steel wrapped in soft pulsing thorns tipped in translucent red.

The air around Bloom held floating rose petals that weren’t there a second ago. He twirled Kakshibara in one hand like it weighed nothing.

Then, he struck the ground with it once, and vines of thorned energy erupted from the staff and curled around his boots like snakes ready to leap.

He grinned.

“Oh, Miko~ You may have discipline…”

The staff spun once, twice, then leveled toward her chest.

“But I have drama.”
