"That can be arranged," Matteo promised. "Provided if Amelia agrees."

Amelia caught sight of the exhaustion lining her grandfather's face and nodded. "I'll let you know if anything happens― but grandfather, I will still go to the media if Annalise or anyone else tries to slander our name. I've had enough of enduring their slander."

"Very understandable." Horace Hawthorne sighed heavily. "I only regret that I couldn't do more to protect you. I've not been a good guardian for you, I'm afraid. Whatever vitriol your father spat at me in anger was entirely founded."
