Cain has an ugly face and it's not a big deal he believe the the true beauty lies in our purpose in life which benefit a lot of people. 

He comes from a family of a pyschic user and they have avery specific rule in their community that is to fight the pyschic user who wants to rule the entire human race. 

At first his goal was to find out the truth in their mother's death, it was change when he see the madness in people like him. He pity the weak and he decided to protect them.
