I'm his hell

Opening the door, Valeria entered the apartment. "Who are you guys?" Seeing a few men picking up the stuff and taking it out, she couldn't comprehend anything. "Hey! Where are you taking all this?" Valeria called out her step-mother but no one answered. She dashed to her room and saw the cupboard open. Just what Valeria suspected, her step-mother had run away with all the hidden savings.

"Sorry, miss. You have to evacuate the flat now. We have removed all your stuff and the other woman had left long ago. You can take your belongings, we can wait for an hour." One of the men informed her, leaving Valeria helpless and blank. She nodded at the man and slumped on the bed. They were behind on rent for more than three months. The cunning step-mother of hers was jobless and leeched off Valeria.

As much as she didn't want to think it was Markos' doing, Valeria could not say anything for sure. "I hope you have nothing to do with this. I am still not going to marry you, Markos Moreno. Never!" She had made up her mind, knowing he would do everything in his power to defeat her. While, Valeria had already assumed that she didn't want Markos to play with her heart anymore.

Nonetheless, she took her belongings in a suitcase and headed towards a friend's place. Since Valeria had nowhere to go and moving in with her friend was the only option. Being in a financial mess, with her company under Markos' clutches. Valeria was now forced to find a job despite being the owner of the most famous makeup brand. However, Markos Moreno ruined everything. She was literally in the hot waters due to him.

Standing in front of her friend's house, who had gone abroad to her family. Valeria decided immediately right there what she wanted to do ahead. "If this is what you want, Markos. Then I shall bring hell to you!" Taking the cab she headed back to the Moreno manor. Descending the cab with her suitcase, she stood out in front of vast stairs. The clouded sky above her head was enraged equally like her. Thunder roared as she took her steps towards the ingress.

Miss Agnes was informed by the butler who saw her coming. She came to the front door to greet Valeria, gesturing to the butler to take the luggage inside. "I knew you would be back." As she took Valeria inside, if anyone could feel the walls shaking in terror. She was indeed Markos' hell, whom he brought home himself. Though this time he actually had no hand in Valeria's situation.

"Markos left me no choice." Valeria smiled at Miss Agnes, acknowledging that she had nothing to do with it. "Now he shall be prepared for whatever is coming!" Miss Agnes shook her head with soft expressions. Of course, they both needed to talk to each other, for which they both required to stay under one roof. Valeria grinned and headed inside while Miss Agnes looked heavenwards. Uttering a silent prayer for their reunion.

Upon reaching the lounge she slumped on the sofa with a sigh. "Markos isn't at home, right?" Miss Agnes nodded while gesturing to a maid to bring some refreshments. "Argh! Thank goodness!" Meanwhile, the maid brought a few choices of drinks. Valeria looked at the ceiling and numerous thoughts popped up in her head. However, Miss Agnes sat beside her with a glass of fresh mango juice.

"Have you thought about the proposal then? Are you going to accept it or do you have something on your head?" Valeria turned her head towards the elderly lady in shock. She was not expecting Markos to give out the details to others. However, she somewhat understood that Miss Agnes was not an ordinary person in his life. Throwing her head back, leaning against the sofa back, Valeria remained silent.

"I am not sure what to conclude from his offer." She turned towards the elderly lady and crept closer. "What do you say, Miss Agnes? You have been by his side all these years, you know him better." Her expressions saddened as Valeria reached for the glass on the table. Instead of picking it, she traced her index finger over the rim. "The Markos I once knew is somewhere lost. I am not sure anymore what this one wants from me."

Miss Agnes grabbed her hand and placed it in her lap. "Trust your instincts, Valeria. A person can only pretend to change himself to a certain extent. One cannot transform his nature drastically." She touched Valeria's cheek to caress, like a daughter she never had, like a mother she also never had. "Baseline nature always stays intact. A good soul will always remain genuine despite everything thrown at it."

Valeria forced a smile over her lips, taking a sip she wondered what her next move would be. "I am in no position to advise you anything. This is your life and the decision should be yours. You have to decide where you wanna place your bet, Valeria. Just remember, he is not a bad man himself." Miss Agnes patted her shoulder, with her eyes silently pleading. "Give him a chance to fix things. He will."

Saying that the elderly woman left Valeria the most precious advice of her life. "If a man wants you then he will make it happen, Valeria. There are no buts and ifs, he will come and make you his. You are already here despite all the resistance because Markos ain't going to let you go." Valeria knew whatever she said was true. Markos had already arranged everything and just how he wanted, she was sitting under his roof.

"Thank you for being here for me." She thanked Miss Agnes and finished her juice. Meanwhile, the elderly woman left to prepare some clothes for her. Markos had already instructed for a separate room for Valeria. However, he didn't expect her to arrive that very day. The eviction was certainly not his plan but of Castello Karman, her ex-husband. Everyone had laid his own plan for Valeria Hayden, totally unaware of the consequences.
