"Surprise", a shout came as I entered my home.

I was surprised to see who spoke. It was my siblings and my parents, all of them.

All of my family is here and I have no idea about this. Oh, it's a surprise, and they were very good at keeping it a secret. Of course, me being away at the academy helped them keep this as a secret.

"How, when?" I spoke out in a breaking tone.

Well, though I never expected to be a surprise appearance from everyone, I wasn't that surprised. To say the truth, as my INT started to increase in an abnormal fashion, my emotions too became abnormal and I had to fake a few times.

In those novels, they show that higher attributes would make life easy but that's not always true.

Sure they would make you powerful, but there are side effects. Abnormal growth of anything is not good and there would be some negatives that people tend to ignore.
