CHAPTER 28

Xu Kai stormed into the restaurant that Cheng Xiao and Ji Xiting were, seeing the way she smiled at him sent him crazy.

"Cheng Xiao!" He shouted her name storming closer.

"What are you doing here?" She asked him when he reached their table.

"Me? I should be asking you what you are doing here?" He asked coldly.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" Ji Xiting asked looking at the person that interrupted them.

Cheng Xiao looked at him and wondered why he was here or how he came to know where she was. 

"Get up!" He said commandingly

"WHAT?" She asked looking up at him.

He looked and felt his patience running thin. He made a movement to grab her but was stopped by Ji Xiting.

"She is not your employee anymore." He said stopping Xu Kai's movement.

"Mr. Xu why are you here?" She asked him.

"Cheng Xiao let's go." He said grabbing her hand once again.

"She is not going anywhere with you." Ji Xiting said taking Cheng Xiao's other hand.

At this moment due to the commotion, the whole restaurant turned to look at them. The whispers started.

"That girl must be playing both of them." Cheng Xiao could feel the mockery in their tone and gaze.

"Xu Kai let go, I'm not going anywhere with you." She said trying to remove his hand.

When he saw her trying to remove his hand off her, there was an overwhelming pain in his heart.

"Let go!" He said coldly looking at Ji Xiting holding her hand.

"Cheng Xiao tell him to let go or else." He said warning her.

Cheng Xiao looked at his face the look that she saw, she knew that she had to back with him otherwise Ji Xiting would end up dead. So she decided that it was best for everyone to just leave with him.

"Ji Xiting you can let go; I will go with him." She said turning to look at Ji Xiting.

"Cheng Xiao!" Ji Xiting said softly.

"It's fine I will call you later." She said trying to convince him.

"Like hell you will." Xu Kai said coldly and grabbed her thing on the table before turning to leave, he left dragging her behind him.

Ji Xiting sat back down in disbelief, any man could tell that Xu Kai had feelings for her, otherwise there was no reason for him to storm in the restaurant where she was. What bothered him the most now was if Cheng Xiao had feelings for Xu Kai, from the way it seemed they knew each other well.

With just one look she had changed her mind from telling him to let go, to her going with him.
