CHAPTER 106

Cheng Xiao walked into the elevator, it was lunchtime, and she was on her way to go and meet Shen Mu. Everyone in the elevator looked at her, she ignored the stairs and pressed the floor she wanted to go to.

Cheng Xiao was in a bad mood and had no time to entertain them. When the door opened, they all got out, Cheng Xiao walked towards Shen Mu who was waiting for her already. With the incident that happened last night with Xu Kai she needs to talk to Shen Mu before she exploded. 

Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao were like each other's therapist, whenever one of them was going through something, the other one would step in and be the therapy. If it happened that they were both going through things, then they would talk and see who needed more therapy.

"You looked like you are about to explode." Shen Mu made the comment when she saw the look on her face.

"I am, and then this idiot came out of nowhere to piss me off." Cheng Xiao replied. 

When Cheng Xiao was angry, her mouth tends to have no filter. "Who?" Shen Mu asked.

"That airhead Gu Xixi." Cheng Xiao replied, and she heard gasp from the people around.

"I swear it is like when she was created, God forgot to put a brain inside." Cheng Xiao added making people cover their mouth and their eyes to widen in shock. 

"Come, come before you say anything else." Shen Mu looked at the stunned faces behind them and hurriedly ushered Cheng Xiao to walk faster. 

"Sorry for her words." Shen Mu looked back and apologized.

When they were out of the door, the people looked at each other in shocked. They could not believe that those words were the one coming out Cheng Xiao's mouth. When Cheng Xiao was Mr. Xu's secretary, she was always quiet, she spoke less and just followed him everywhere. 

Never in their wildest dreams did they think Cheng Xiao could scold someone like that. Soon after everyone was talking about what she said and how she shouted at Gu Xixi. 

Cheng Xiao told Shen Mu everything that happened between her and Xu Kai. Shen Mu's mouth widened, she could not believe what she was hearing. Xu Kai seemed like he wanted Cheng Xiao to open up to him, then how could he go and do something that would take them hundred steps backwards. 

"How could he?" Shen Mu was in shock.

"I have never been so scared in my life. I was starting to open my heart to him, and he did that." Cheng Xiao spoke.

"I don't know if I will be able to trust him again." She added. 

"Is it that time we were on a call?" Shen Mu asked, and Cheng Xiao nodded.

"Do you still want to leave him?" Shen Mu asked.

"Yes! After this I don't see anything with him anymore." Cheng Xiao replied.

Shen Mu nodded, she had been trying so hard to convince Cheng Xiao to give Xu Kai a chance and he ruined it. If Xu Kai really wanted to be with her, then he was going to have to work harder than ever before. When Cheng Xiāo made up her mind, it was impossible to go back on it.
