CHAPTER 108

The department head walked in and sat down. The meeting started and he ended up asking for the document.

"Sir, you should ask Gu Xixi about that." Cheng Xiao replied, and they all turned to look at Gu Xixi.

"Why are you all looking at me? That work was assigned to Cheng Xiao. If she couldn't do the work, she should have said so." GU Xixi said trying to make herself look more innocent.

"But I did do the work, and you know exactly what you did with it." Cheng Xiao replied. 

"What did I do?" Gu Xixi asked.

"Sir, while I was working on the document Gu Xixi came up and just tore the document in pieces." Cheng Xiao said to the department head.

"Gu Xixi, is this true?" The department head asked turning to Gu Xixi.

"No sir, I don't know why she is trying to blame me for not doing her work. After all the designing department is different from what she was doing before." Gu Xixi said playing the victim.

"Sir, I have noticed that Gu Xixi tends to act as she please in the department and no one can say anything to her because they fear she might get them fired." Cheng Xiao spoke.

"I am not them that will sit there and entertain her, nor will I be tolerant her insolent behavior. Such an important document was torn into pieces, what will be next." Cheng Xiao added.

"If you want to fire me for what I said then go ahead, but I will not be working on something, and someone just come and tears it up in pieces just because she can." Cheng Xiao spoke again.

"Gu Xixi is this true?" He asked her and she shook her head.

"Then what is this?" Cheng Xiao asked and pressed a button, and the projector lit up.

On the screen it showed when Gu Xixi walked up to Cheng Xiao and tore up the document. Gu Xixi's eyes widened up and she looked at Cheng Xiao. When Cheng Xiao stood up and went out, she had planned on going to collect the video. 

"Gu Xixi, do you care to explain yourself?" The department head asked.

"I-i-i-i" Gu Xixi stuttered but no words came out of her mouth.

"Do you think this is your house to act as you please?" He shouted in anger.

"Do you know how much money the company lost because of you, how do you plan on explaining it to Mr. Xu who is waiting for feedback?" He asked again.

Gu Xixi looked down her face flushing with embarrassment. 

"What will happen now? Gu Xixi fix this yourself, since you want to show your dominance and think that you are better than everyone in this department, then you work on the document all by yourself. You better have the document done by tomorrow or don't bother coming at all." The department head said and left in anger. 

Cheng Xiao looked at Gu Xixi and snickered. "Do you think that I will do the document over again?" Cheng Xiao asked leaning into Gu Xixi.

"You, you!" Gu Xixi said pointing her finger at her.

"I really am looking forward to your work tomorrow." Cheng Xiao said with a smile and walked out of the board room.
