Nothing Is Fair

Destiny's POV

"I didn't know you liked to joke now, Des," Red murmured in more than a whisper that I could hardly hear him as he loosened up and slumped his back on his seat.

"I am tired of the game you were trying to play; I can't do this anymore." He added with defeat in his voice.

The tension suddenly evaporated between us, and it felt like we were back to the old days when we used to whisper sweet nothings every time we were alone, cuddling each other.

"I am not kidding, Red. I am not playing games with you. I want you to be my first; it hurts me that you broke up with me without giving me a chance to explain myself." I responded, keeping my voice low.

"I don't think you can rectify yourself," he answered as he slowly turned his head and stared at me, and I scowled at him.

"That is the problem with you and my father; you judged me based on what you had seen." I countered.
