The Right Time

Red's POV

"Red, thank you so much for letting Destiny and me stay in your house. We could have stayed in a hotel, but you offered your place for us, and I was grateful," Alejandro said after I sent him to his room.

"You are welcome. I will never let you stay in some random hotel. To avoid suspicion, and we can't risk it, someone might see you and wonder what you were doing in a hotel," I responded.

"Of course, you have a point," he replied.

"Take a rest, Alejandro; I will call you when dinner is ready," I mumbled, and he shook his head.

"Don't be silly. I can go down into your dining area and even help you in the kitchen," he replied with a smile.

"You don't need to do that; your daughter is cooking dinner," my answer made him raise an eyebrow.

"I only have one daughter, and surely she can't cook unless you want to eat burned food." He responded with amusement on his face.
