Destiny's POV

One week passed in a blur, and I woke up early to start my new job as the CEO of my father's company. After drying my hair and applying light makeup, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I smiled as I stared at my face, which looked radiant and happy.

I was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with a ruffled V-neckline, a black pencil-cut skirt, and black high-heeled shoes. I adorned my ears with stud diamond earrings.

I had basic knowledge about my work but knew it would be more complicated than I thought. Red was true to his words; he resigned from Leo's family company, and I couldn't deny that I felt excited to work with him soon.

He promised to be there for me every step of the way.

"Are you nervous?" My dad asked, and I smiled as I put my cup of coffee on the saucer.

"A little, but knowing you will be there, I felt confident I could do it, Dad," I answered.
