Four

Her nanny Lu Hua sat in front for the gates on a pile of boxes and when she saw Nitzan approach she stood up.

"Little Miss." Lu Hua cried and ran to her.

"What is happening, why are my boxes outside Lu Hua?" Nitzan demanded. "And why are you outside?"

Lu Hua raised tear filled eyes up at Nitzan and sniffed. "Lawyer Yen came to the mansion and informed us that you were being kicked out and informed us that we could stay if we wanted to but I could not do that."

Lu Hua had been mad to see so many of the ungrateful staff refusing to protest and leave, Nitzan may be a little spoiled but she was kind and generous and she tried to make sure that the staff lived well, she did not deserve to be treated that way.

"They are all just so selfish, I can't believe they are okay with still working here. Lu Hua hissed.

"I can't say that I blame them, I have nothing to give them anymore."

Nitzan said as she sat numbly on the pavement while Lu Hua followed her to the ground and held her against her bosom. It felt like the rug had been pulled from under her feet and nothing made sense anymore.

"They would not let me take your things so I managed to take some of your things and put it in a couple of your boxes." Lu Hua continued while Nitzan stared at nothing.

"Thank you so much." Nitzan said with tears in her eyes as she looked up at the mansion where she had spent her entire life.

Where was she supposed to begin from? It was bad enough that Ran Bing had done this to her but the fact that lawyer Yen was helping her made her feel I'll.

He had been her father's lawyer and had been her guardian as both her parents had no other family. He had managed her estate and had been the closest thing to a father. To think that he had just been plotting behind her all this time.

She burst into tears and cried uncontrollably as she was overwhelmed by the happenings of the day. To think that just the previous day she had been excited for the future and now she did not know where to go or what next to do, all because she had trusted the wrong people.

"Let us leave this place." Lu Hua said and pulled her up but when Nitzan tried to order a taxi she realized that her cards had been blocked and she would be unable to pay but Lu Hua waved her concerns about money away then she stopped a taxi and they got in.

Nitzan had no idea where she was going to but she was with her nanny who was apparently the only one that still cared for her.

The cab left the upscale section of town where she lived and ventured into the lower class neighborhood. Nitzan worried about the environment and wondered where they were going when Lu Hua tapped the driver's shoulder.

"Right there close to those hydrangeas." She pointed at a small house with peeling paint and the flowers she had described to the driver.

The car came to a stop and they came out of the car. While Lu Hua removed the bags and paid the driver, Nitzan looked around and wrinkled her nose from the smell.

The neighborhood was extremely low class and dirty, there were dirty children running around in front of the houses while some clusters of men openly smoked outside and eyed the cab appeasing.

"Come on, let's go inside." Lu Hua said and dragged Nitzan into the house with the peeling pain which had surroundings that looked better than the other houses around.

When they walked down the hallway into a cramped living room with a worn out three seater, a scratched up center table with a ratty table cloth and a vintage television, Nitzan looked around while Lu Hua opened her arms and announced proudly.

"This is my home, you are welcome." She said and dragging the bags turned to her. "Come on in."

Nitzan followed her and entered an even smaller room than the living room, it had a narrow bed with clean but worn bedsheets and a clothes rack with just a few clothes hanging on it.

She sat on the chair and looked around desolately and burst into tears.

Lu Hua sat beside her and gently soothed her. After Lawyer Yen's announcement, she had heard some of the staff gossiping. Apparently Nitzan had lost the company and the new owners had taken everything.

"I don't know what to do Lu Hua, i don't know how to get out of this mess." Nitzan cried and Lu Hua patted her softly.

"How about Master Jie? I am sure he will be able to held you as his future wife." Lu Hua supplied and Nitzan cried even louder.

"Did you two have a fight?" Lu Hua asked but Nitzan just continued to cry and her nanny sighed.

"Well, even if you have fought with him then I am sure that his parents will still take care of you since you are the future daughter in law of the family."

Nitzan abruptly stopped crying and raised her face from her hands and looked at Lu Hua.

"…"

It was actually a good idea. Jie's family had always adored her even when Jie would complain about her, they cared about her and would not want to see her suffer. Moreover, she was carrying the heir of the Cheng family, they had no other choice than to take care of her.

"Lu Hua, you are a genius!" Nitzan said and hugged her while she beamed happily.

"Let me get changed and go to the Cheng family mansion immediately." She said and hurriedly went through the boxes that Lu Hua had been able to sneak out of the house.

After changing into fresh clothes, Lu Hua squeezed some money into her hands and Nitzan almost broke into tears again. She found a taxi and headed to the Cheng family mansion.

"Who is it?" The men at the gate demanded when her taxi came at a stop in front of the gates and she leaned out of the window so that they could see her face.

"Ah, Miss Nitzan." They hailed as they recognized her and opened the gates for the taxi to go up the long driveway then she got out and paid.

She was led to the garden by one of the maids and waited for them to inform Jie's mother that she was around.

After a few minutes, she heard footsteps behind her so she stood up with a smile and turned around, expecting to see Jie's mother.

It was not her.

Instead Jie stood at the archway before her, as handsome as ever.
