Thirty Eight

And even though she was reluctant to leave, Natzin left the apartment without a word of complaint. She was worried that something bad could happen to the women but she had been asked to leave so she had no other choice than to trust that they would be able to take care of it themselves.

Soon enough she would be able to secure their trust and when that happened she would do her best to keep them safe. For now she would just let them deal with their situation.

As she got into her car she second guessed her car and wondered if she should call the police and send them to do a welfare care? On second thought the family would probably not be very pleased to learn she sicced the police on their father. She would have to wait until tomorrow to be sure they were fine.

As she drove down the road late at night with the top down while the breeze ruffled her hair, it helped her to think. She had been doing a lot of that recently.
