Over the next five days, Eiravyne's room became a sanctuary of care, filled with constant visits from Martha, Ilkar, and Karl. 

They remained steadfast by her side, offering comfort and support through the discomfort of her condition.

 Martha, with her motherly warmth, attended to Eiravyne's needs with gentle reassurance, while Karl's expertise in healing magic provided relief from pain and fatigue.

However, Eiravyne couldn't shake a growing sense of confusion and unease about Ilkar's demeanor. 

Despite his consistent presence, he maintained a stoic distance, rarely speaking or making direct contact with her. 

This silence and perceived aloofness stirred insecurities within her, amplified by a memory of her mother's words about men's attitudes towards women during their periods.
