Up above the Converging Desert the Skies were cracked revealing an enormous city of white marble.
The Divine realm was breaking apart and in a few minutes would crash back into the lower haven, talk about falling from grace.
They all knew this was a ploy by their lower realm enemies, they were aware of the hate they had gathered, they just didn't care.
But now those lesser beings actually dared to tarnish their creation, they wouldn't allow it.
If it was war they wanted they they would raise a Divine war and trample upon the entirety of the lower haven, the Gods were enraged and out for blood.
As the skies splintered and cracked even more the vigor of the gods war drums resounded all over the havens.
It was loud and booming but also organized and in a stellar rhythm, they were also itching to fight and kill after all the fights between gods were lackluster and usually too monotone.
Their call for war accelerated the fracturing Havens demise as it fully gave in and the divine haven fell to the lower haven.
Valmus who was at a distance rubbed his hands expectantly, he was more interested in their treasures than their blood.
He could always clash with the gods for the entirety of the war but their treasures they were too precious to be left unattended to.
And so he had his own plans mixed into the already messy tapestry of strings and thread, he could only hope that the chaos would cover him long enough to finish his looting.
Thirteen isles fell to the earth, five isles fell onto the the central area, the Converging Desert. The largest one sat in the middle, as the other four spread out in four cardinal directions.
Two isles fell to the North, the Gargantuan Mountains, veiled behind the canopy of mountain peaks. A roar of Giants echoed throughout the mountains as if announcing the call of war.
Two fell into West, the abysmal bottomless Valley shrouded in darkness of lightlessness. The growl of an abomination echoed announcing a great feast one of divine flesh and ichor.
Two fell into the East, the Great Ocean where a white mist covered the waters. There was an eerie silence over the east as no sound was heard after the isles touched the mist. It was the quiet before the storm a storm that would draw in clouds of tribulation.
Two fell to the South, the Primal Forest where the canopy of trees civered the forest floor. Once the isles touched ground the earth itself opened its maws and swallowed large chunks of the isles, what followed next was the primal howl of a wolf that sought to devour the flesh of Gods and gnaw upon their bones.
The war had begun with five roars of the havens residents from all Cardinal directions with the central included since even the silence of the Great Ocean was eerily loud.
The beasts of the Central Converging Desert rushed forward, they did not need ordered to slaughter all they needed were their fangs, claws and bodies nothing else matters only drawing blood and snuffing out the lives if the divine.
The Abominations needed no reason to kill, all they knew was that they were promised a feast of Gold blood, the promise was kept hot and warm yo the point where the abominations considered having more dealings with the man embraced by darkness.
The screams of the Gods from the pits of the valley were heard first, they were tge first of the many that would perish but there was a seemingly tangible increase in morale when the first to fall was not beast, giant or abomination but the hailed and honored divines.
The Gargantuan mountains followed next as they trembled when a club crashed against what was a god, n9w however they were purely a meat paste of golden flesh. The second scream from the Gods was sounded, if any normal mortal were present they they would have already gone mad and faced corruption turning into a monster for the pained screams of a Diety was not something a mortal was meant to hear.
The third scream was stiffled, as if suppressed by an undeniable force. It came from the Great Ocean where a large bubble broke from the mass of water. When it broke a stiffled scream escaped before falling into silence but its echoes remained for whatever horror the God faced truly shook them to theor core.
The fourth scream came from the South, from the forest of beasts and trees. It was mixed with a guttural laugh, one that seemed to resemble that of a demon.
The scream was drowned by yhe laughter as it faded but it remained. The beasts of the forest made no sounds as they attack with honed lethality, the laughter remained but none laid it any heed after all they all knew who's laugh it was.
The Final scream was from the Centeal, the converging desert. The Chimera was surprisingly the first to execute the Gods and damning them for death.
He pinned the God down and ripped out its arm, it then but of the other arm before cleaving the Gods chest with his claws. And then in the most gruesome way the head of the God was bit off and swallowed in a single mouthful.
To add disgrace to the Gods death the Chimera spat on the floor and crunched his nose as if to say 'I've tasted better.' He was mocking them without reserve as he had waited for far too long to kill them like they killed his kin.
Valmus watched the horrid scene of mauled flesh and severed limbs, he could only shake his head bitterly now knowing the full scale of the system objective.
'How the hell am I going to kill ten Gods when every existence on this haven wants them dead.' He sighed as he made way towards the Isles, before he could kill Gods he would first loot them. After all what need do the dead have for treasures?
