Carl leisurely looked around Rodgers' manor in a nostalgic smile, a few months ago he had been working for his now business partner.

He could remember being beaten black and blue from the moment he begun cultivating, Sam had dumped him in Rodgers' hands saying "Pain is the best teacher" and ran off to Vestia.

He was beaten senselessly repeatedly for weeks, even with his alternate timeline's memories he was still no match for the retired boxer, black belt Judo master and martial artist.

Rodgers had grown up brawling, from Street fights to professional fight, it was how he got his hands on N-Hancers and miraculously survived an Overdose of it.

His theft however caused his expulsion and he was forced to return to the streets where he grew up in, there with the connections of his fame, his hood brothers and strength he was able to raise a strong gang.
