—Lucius
Sebastian's laughter echoed through the room, a sound that grated on my already frayed nerves. His amusement at my predicament was palpable, and I could feel my anger rising despite my weakened state.
"Oh, Lucius," he chuckled, shaking his head. "I must admit, I'm impressed by your little stunt with the crosses. Clever, very clever. But also incredibly reckless, wouldn't you agree?"
Before I could respond, his hand shot out, gripping my jaw with crushing force. I felt my bones creak under the pressure as he lifted me effortlessly, bringing us face to face. His eyes, cold and ancient, bored into mine.
"You see, my old friend," Sebastian continued, his voice dripping with false affection, "this changes nothing. You and your delightful little demon will remain here, as my playthings. Just like Astarte had you dancing to her tune, you'll dance to mine. For eternity."
