The Vampire King's Depravity

"There they are!" one shouted, pointing frantically. "Our informant was right all along. Those must be the ghosts! Let's go!"

The boys whirled around at the noise, their earlier despondency instantly replaced by excitement. "There they are!" one shouted, pointing frantically. "Our informant was right all along. Those must be them! Let's go!"

They took off in hot pursuit, exactly as the pale couple had predicted. I knew it was most certainly a trap, but the boys were already gone, leaving me no choice but to follow.

I was too carried away by the fun in all this and excited to see what happened.

Also, I couldn't just abandon them to their fate, even if their recklessness had landed them in this predicament.
