Violation's interference

—Lucius

As I struggled to find a weakness in their defense, I noticed strange symbols appearing in the air, traced by the fae's movements.

The forest seemed to slighly warp around me. I marveled at the complexity of their strategy. How could these seemingly mindless creatures work in such perfect harmony?

Suddenly, the spinning fae stopped, freezing in place. In that instant of stillness, I saw that their bodies had merged, forming a triangle of flesh and bone around me.

From the corners of this living prison, tendrils of pure magic shot out, weaving a dome of energy over my head.

I attempted to leap through the gaps, but an invisible force slammed me back to the center.

The air grew thick and heavy, pressing down on me from all sides. My movements became sluggish, as if I were trying to fight underwater.
