Elias, who had unlocked his door and was about to enter his room, halted and looked at them strangely. "Uh... You are still here," he asked, raising a brow.
The bellman's smile twitched, his eyes flickering towards the package, Elias, and Lily. "Well, sir, Miss, I just want to ensure that everything is to your liking." His voice was a bit forced now, but he still managed to keep the professional smile intact.
Lily caught a hint, realising what was happening and chuckled lightly. "I think he's waiting for a tip," she said, amused.
"Oh," Elias's eyes widened in realisation. He frowned, as he didn't have much cash on him left.
Noticing Elias's quick shift in demeanour, Lily smiled and said, "Don't worry; I will handle it." She reached into her backpack, pulled out a few bills, and slipped them into the bellman's hand with a polite nod, "Thank you for your help."
