"Holy fucking shit! Who the fuck is this guy!"
A chubby man in a brown suit swore as he violently hit the table in front of him, while his sweaty subordinates froze without saying a word.
"How did the Yellow River syndicate find all my fucking reserves! 4,5 tons! I've lost 4,5 tons!"
One of the subordinates plucked up courage and stepped forward, saying in a trembling voice.
"Boss, according to our spies at the Yellows, this is a new informant from the Dark Web who is selling sensitive information."
"What !! "
"His pseudonym is oldduck-guy and he's reportedly selling all sorts of information around the world and ...."
Suddenly, the heads of all the men in the luxurious office exploded, with the exception of the chubby man in the suit, whose body radiated a dark aura, and the man who had stepped forward to speak a second earlier, who was standing with his body shaking and covered in a mixture of blood and brains.
"There must be a traitor warn everyone I put a bounty on the head of rats I do not care who it is found the me understood!!!?"
"Ye...ye...yes Boss !!"
"And i'm putting a $1,000,000 bounty on that information bastard's head for his fucking head!"
"Yes Boss !!!!"
In almost every gang in New-Asia, and criminal organisations in Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Chicago, New York and Moscow, the same scene has been occurring almost every day for almost two months, making the pseudonym oldduck-guy famous on the Dark Web.
While the underground world was in turmoil, the man responsible for all these events was doing push-ups, his body covered in sweat, without a care in the world outside.
. . . .
"397 398 399 400 !"
Jyro rose from the ground, his arms numb, took a deep breath and swallowed a mouthful of water from his flask
Dring•• Dring•• Dring••
"Hye-soo?"
He answered the incoming call on his connected watch casually, while a rather pleasant voice sounded at the other end.
"Jyro, have you finished your training?"
"Yes I've just finished, do you need me?"
"Not especially, Tae-soo and I are going out to eat. Do you want to come with us?"
"I'm a bit busy, tomorrow's Saturday, how about going out tomorrow?"
"We've hardly seen each other since you left school and I want us to go out together like we used to!"
Hearing Hye-soo's slightly sad tone, he felt slightly embarrassed; it was true that he had ignored his two unwitting friends over the last few weeks, concentrating his attention on raising his level to that of his former life's peak.
Added to this the barrier of time travel and his mental age, he unconsciously stayed away from them.
"I'm coming, where are you?"
"Great! Just outside the university towards the east car park."
"OK."
After disconnecting the call, Hye-soo left the training room and headed for his dormitory.
After a shower and a change of clothes, he made his way to the meeting place and quickly spotted his two friends, who could hear him, leaning against one of the lampposts that lit up the car park, which was very busy at the start of the evening with employees heading home
"Hello."
"Hello my arse, you've got a big head because you've awaken, mister is keeping people waiting!"
Tae-soo spat angrily as Hye-soo lowered her head, covering her eyes as if she were about to cry.
"I never thought you were that kind of person oppa Jyro."
Even with all his experience, Jyro began to panic.
"Have I neglected their feelings too much?"
Children at the age of 15 were sensitive and often interpreted things that might seem trivial to an adult as something hurtful, thinking that he might have made his two friends sad.
"Sorry !"
He felt embarrassed again.
"I don't want your apology, and you haven't replied to my last message! I sent it to you 2 days ago!"
"Oppa you've become someone else *snif* You ignore us now we're not good enough for you anymore*Sob*."
"Sorry ! I'm really sorry !"
The embarrassment he'd felt before suddenly increased before disappearing like a dog's fart in a level 9 tornado when he saw the corners of Hye-soo's lips twitch as she desperately tried to hide her face.
"Are you pulling my leg?"
The two remained silent for a moment before bursting out laughing.
"Puff hahaha if you'd seen your face!"
"Oppa, your face was so funny! You believed it!"
"You look like you're about to cry! A true drama queen! My friends got mad at me snif snif."
"I'll give you a 5-minute head start."
Jyro said with a grin, cracking his knuckles covered in a faint red glow that made both of them stop laughing.
"It's against the law to hit people who aren't awake for a byonder! I'll report you if you touch me!"
"Oppa, you're not going to hit a poor, pretty, defenceless young woman, are you?"
"4 minutes et 52 secondes."
"Gorilla..."
"Yes dumbass?"
"Run! He wants to kill us! Police to the assassin!"
"Oppa, you'll never get us!!!
"Get back here!!!"
Jyro ran after them, shaking his fists and grinning, almost laughing at the sight of Tae-soo falling in the distance.
A frantic race began in the streets of New Asia and ended in a noodle restaurant.
. . . .
"Eat slowly, you idiot, you'll choke."
"Stop bothering me and eat, gorillas need to eat at least five bowls of noodles ouch! It hurts!"
"Respect your elders!"
"Please keep it down youngsters!"
At the shout from the noodle stall owner, an embarrassed Hye-soo gave Tae-soo a dirty look as she ate her portion.
"Another, please.
Jyro asked the noodle stall owner, placing his third empty bowl on the wooden counter while stroking his stomach.
"You have an appetite today."
Tae-soon said as he emptied his bowl with a great sigh of joy as Hye-soo was halfway through her first bowl.
"It's the training that makes you hungry.
"It's just that you used to barely finish a bole, come to think of it, you're a bit different now, you seemed more, how shall I say, less sure of yourself? Less grown up?"
Tae-soo's words almost made him spit out the fourth bowl of noodles he'd started.
"I forgot that bastard was quite perceptive."
"Do I look that different from before?"
Jyro asked calmly, continuing to eat as if Tae-soo's question was about someone else.
"Yes."
An awkward silence lasted for a short while before being broken by Hye-soo, who mumbled with an air of confusion.
"Huh? "Jyro oppa doesn't look any different to me."
"It's the magic of love."
"WHAT!"
Tae-soo's words made Hye-soo blush, and she let out a loud scream as she gave Tae-soo a masterful right, sending him spinning through the air before falling to the ground completely knocked out before the stunned eyes of Jyro and the noodle shop owner.
"Where does she get such strength from?"
"From your noodles I think...."
The dinner ended with Jyro carrying a stunned Tae-soo on his back and a blushing Hye-soo, both of them silently making their way back to the university.
