Alone in the room, Seraphina thought about her life, the way she spent her entire 15 years in a corner room hiding from her father and spending time with her sick mother.

Everyone in the Angelos household treated her mother with contempt and neglect.

Seraphina didn't know anything about their thoughts and the reason behind their hatred, all she knew was her mother's decision for her to be invisible in the house.

Selena, her mother, was a crazy lady. All Seraphina knew about her parents was that her father was madly in love with her mother and forcefully married her against her permission.

When Raphael Angelos brought her mother Selena home, she was already 4 months pregnant and the child was Seraphina, a girl with shining dark hair like her mother.

She did not look like any other children of the Angelos household with shining blonde hair. Her dark hair led to the questioning of her bloodline.

Everyone in the household assumed that she was not the daughter of Angelos family.

The golden blonde hair was the symbol of the angelic family of Angelos. Long time ago in the past, the ancestor of the Angelos family married an angel and asked for the blessing of having angelic blood in their descendants.

From then on, Angelos family from the imperial star, the capital of Zibon Federation, a high ranked noble family flourished and made their mark in history.

The death of her mother was not a coincidence, Seraphina was aware that her mother was going to leave her soon as she had seen her mother writhing in pain from the past fourteen years that she was sane.

Her mother was suffering from pain. She didn't know the problem ailing her mother but has seen her mother suffering and wishing death.

Her father who silently looked after her, disregarding the family law and contempt trying to keep her mother alive.

Seraphina knew that her father was harsh towards her in the trial hall due to the pain of losing her mother.

After all, he didn't want to lose her.

Even though her father, Raphael Angelos was not like a normal loving father to her, he didn't like to cause any unnecessary trouble to her.

" It is my fault." Seraphina sobbed as she gripped the ring in her hand.

"Mother!"

"I miss you."

Her mother died because she took her inside the mystic valley. It was her fault.

Few days ago when Seraphina heard that the mystic valley can treat any disease in the world due to the presence of angelic power in the surrounding and this place was considered forbidden because it was like a seperate secret realm with mystic powers that can achieve anything.

Only the head of household and elders were allowed inside to practise their superpowers and only a selected few children could attend that place.

Seraphina was not interested in the magical powers or any supernatural powers that came from mystic valley. She only wanted to cure her mother.

Last night, her mother was coughing blood and could not bear the pain which led Seraphina to stop being cowardly and trying to take her mother inside the mystic valley without any permission.

Without knowing that it was hurting her mother, as Black magic ran in her veins, her mother died even more brutally.

Seraphina knew her father was punishing her for hurting his lover and forever losing her.

She knew that her father was deeply in love with her. He was not close to her but has never hurt her.

It was the first time and probably last time that he talked to her when giving her the verdict and exiling her to the Mining Star.

Seraphina was still sad about her mother's death and her father's indifference when a loud banging sound interrupted her thinking.

Gunshots and breaking glasses as well as a fire alarm were buzzing loudly as if giving a warning to the upcoming danger.

Seraphina opened her communication device as she saw the time, it has been long since she left the main capital star.

Three days were needed to reach Mining Star and it has barely been a day after she left the capital star that an accident occurred.

She remembered the guard's words and his sneaky operation.

Was she in danger?

What was the reason behind his behaviour?

Was anyone else close to her mother in the Angelos household?

She couldn't understand why this ring was given to her. She remembered when her mom died she clearly told her to leave this place.

She gripped the ring tightly and closely looked at it to find the mystery behind it.

The ring was simple but the diamond shining on top of it has astonishing resemblance to the awakening stone that are used to awaken superpowers in the body at the age of six.

Seraphina didn't have any special power as her mother Selena never allowed her to take part in the awakening ceremony meant for the children of Angelos.

It was not like Seraphina ever cared about becoming a supernaturalist. Her dream from her childhood was to have a happy and normal family.

She was neither interested in power not fame.

"There you are, little lady!"

"Have you got her?"

A group of masked men barged inside the room with weapons in their hands.

It was shocking. Seraphina has never witnessed moments like this in her life.

"Who… who are…y-you?"

Seraphina stammered as fear gripped her heart.
