6. New Beginnings

Since the devil, gatekeeper of the dark realm, agreed to Alina's demand, the vanishing body of Seraphina emerged again in the world.

Seraphina's agreement has to be fulfilled by a foreign soul as per her wishes, so the gatekeeper summoned a new soul that had just died before her time of death.

It was accidental and not written in her fate.

As the fingers twitched and the dead body showed some signs of life, Alina fulfilled her promise by giving the location of her dead body and went her own way.

As soon as everyone left the wrecked spaceship, the consciousness within Seraphina opened her eyes and welcomed the new world.

" Is this afterlife? Why is this broken?"

Her body was in too much pain and the visible area around her was completely destroyed.

She could not believe her afterlife could be so tragic. 

The foreign soul was Sera Loy, an orphan from the modern blue star. She was living her life as ordinary as it could be, attending classes, eating trashy food and working for the orphanage to deal with naughty Little kids.

One day she died due to food poisoning. She was barely sixteen yet died due to the negligence of the supervisor.

"What could we expect from government officials? They just know the way to suck ordinary people's blood."

As she was grimacing from the past, some memories sneaked inside her head.

It was the time when Seraphina Angelos was cutting herself and asking for wishes. She witnessed everything that happened to Seraphina in the past three days.

The death of her mother or aunt, the trauma left behind because of the indifference of trashy father, the sudden attack of mysterious people and the whole truth about her mother. 

It was too much for an ordinary and timid sixteen year old child. 

Seraphina was also sixteen but due to being an orphan she was mature way before others.

"The strange thing was that woman Alina. Is she suffering from bipolar disease?"

Sometimes trying to kill someone and other time trying to save some speck of soul; Sera could not understand such people.

" So, I am Seraphina Angelos now. I have to follow her wishes if I want to live past ten years. How annoying!"

It was bearable if she could get a chance for a new life. Sera wanted to live nicely and probably spend a long time looking around the world. 

"From now on , I shall be Seraphina Angelos Ziel."

Ziel was the name used by her dead mother. She was aware of the host's wishes and would gladly follow the commands if it meant some relief to that poor soul that granted her  a new life.

"Where should I go? This shipwreck would kill me."

Seraphina tried using her dark powers but was surprised to see a golden light coming from her.

It was the white magic of angelo's household.

"How is this possible? Wasn't this body bearer of dark magic?"

The new Seraphina did not mind dark powers and thought they were cool and not anything to be ashamed of.

The white magic wielders were crazy just like the people from Angelos household. This was interstellar and no one other than them were discriminating against dark magic. 

"It might be due to opposing nature but why do I have white magic?"

Seraphina tried to use her dark magic and was surprised to see that she could use both.

"Wow! Jackpot! Is this white magic because of my soul as this body already had dark magic so this means I also have a potential to become a magician. I am not completely dependent on others."

She was feeling good. Now she had to find a way to safely land on a planet otherwise this broken body would die in outer space. 

Seraphina remembered that this ship has used space jump before so it must be near an interstellar port, not every place has a passage to conveniently allow space jumps.

She just needs to safely land on the planet and due to her age she could safely pass the problem of illegal household and get a new identity to pursue the wishes of the dead.

The explosion occurred after some time of initiating the jump so it must be somewhere around the planet they wanted to take this body.

It was planet no. 3410 an unknown star. Seraphina used her powers and focused them in her eyes and was pleasantly surprised as she could see more than what a human eye could observe.

She could see everything more clearly, all the points and tangents in the space station. Everything was crystal clear; it was like she had special eyesight that could see everything. Nothing was hidden from her eyes.

She used this power and found a safety suit in the wrecked shop and quickly used it and jumped down to the nearest marking possible. She used white magic and used black magic to create wings at her feet to safely cross the barrier and enter the planetary zone of any planet.

Seraphina used her imagination for applying the magic but she did not what she did by using dual magic together at the same time was difficult for even strong mages.

Currently there were no archmages present in the world of Interstellar so her feat of applying magic without any proper knowledge and using it conveniently was a sign of brilliance.

Seraphina reached near the port and used her eyes to inject magic power in the circuit to start the jump to the nearest planet.

It was risky but she could not live in outer space for a long time.

After 5 minutes the circuit responded and Seraphina was safely transported to a new planet.

The space port was deserted and there was not much noise and interaction of passengers.

" Such dilipaded condition…"

Seraphina was aware that she would land on an unknown star as the coordinates were similar to planet 3410 but she never thought she would come to this place where birds don't shit.

In the large spaceport there were dust and garbage littered around and no sign of living.

It was a scene straight out of a horror movie.

"When life gives you lemon you make a lemonade but what can I make from this dilipaded and rubbish place."

As Seraphina was in deep thoughts an old hoarse voice questioned her, "Who are you? How did you come?"
