The World’s End: The Secret of Time (2)

The story continues, showing the store in a renovated and better shape. It's already midnight, marking the 15th day since Noah and Yuri woke up in this desolate world.

As the new day begins, Noah wakes up and knocks on the door to Yuri's room but gets no response. After waiting a while, he enters and finds the room empty. Not thinking much of it, since she often acts unpredictably, he starts to leave. His eyes fall on a notebook lying on the desk. Curious, he picks it up and begins to read. As he goes through the pages, his expression darkens, and tears start to fall. He collapses to the floor, crying.

Yuri enters the room, unaware of what's happening until she sees the open notebook. Realizing her mistake in not destroying it, she rushes to Noah, trying to calm him down, but he doesn't respond. His tears turn to anger.

"You knew what year it was and you didn't tell me? What do you think of me? I trusted you, and you betrayed me," he screams, his voice filled with pain and betrayal.

Yuri stands there, stunned, unable to find words. When she snaps out of her daze, Noah is gone. She rushes outside and sees him running away.

"Noah, stop!" she calls after him, but he doesn't respond. Hours pass, and Noah hasn't returned. Yuri blames herself, whispering to the empty room, "It's my fault. I tried to keep it hidden, but it didn't last long. I'm sorry, Noah."

From Noah's perspective, his feelings are beyond words. He sits under a broken building, looking down at his bloodied hands from punching a wall in rage. None of it matters now. He feels only despair.

"I'll meet them if I die, right? Right?" he thinks to himself. He climbs a building, preparing to jump, but can't bring himself to do it. He begins to cry and scream, remembering his promise to his parents never to kill himself, no matter the situation. At this point, he feels nothing but hollowness.

Staring blankly at the ground, he suddenly sees something—a silhouette of his mother. His heart races as he runs towards it, reaching out and touching her shoulder, then...
