Noah and Yuri awaken in a desolate, post-apocalyptic Tokyo, surrounded by ruined buildings and an eerie silence. The world’s End: Way of depression

Yuri, now settled in her fully built shelter, sits with the deer, watching the snow pile up and the temperature drop. Her food supplies are dwindling, and she contemplates her next move. Despite her lack of hunting skills and the uncertainty of finding uncovered stores, she decides that staying still won't help. Gathering her resolve, she energetically declares, "Alright, let's do this!" She ventures out, trudging through the snow, her determination unwavering despite the biting cold and hunger gnawing at her insides.

Meanwhile, Noah remembers his hunting trips with his father and the tips he learned. Using the snow to mask his scent, he prepares an ambush for a group of rabbits. His patience pays off, and he successfully catches two rabbits, quickly and humanely ending their lives. With food secured, he now faces the challenge of starting a fire in the snow. As he struggles to find a solution, several hours pass, and he finds an old lighter in a pocket, a small triumph in his dire situation.

By midnight, Yuri returns to her shelter, unsuccessful in her hunt and feeling the pangs of starvation. She clutches her empty stomach, fighting back tears of frustration and exhaustion. In contrast, Noah finds an abandoned apartment where he can start a fire and cook his catch. He reflects on the thrill of the hunt and the satisfaction of survival, even as he coughs from the cold. Despite the harsh conditions, he smiles, relishing the challenges, remembering how his father taught him to find joy in the struggle.

As the sun rises, both Noah and Yuri wake up with renewed resolve to survive. Yuri must find food to sustain herself, while Noah's carefree attitude and enjoyment of the situation could lead to carelessness.
