Prologue.

The world has always been an unjust place. Since time immemorial, humanity has witnessed how greed, hatred, and betrayal dominate interactions between people. Those with power or abilities have always trampled on the weak, exploiting their vulnerabilities to satisfy their own selfish desires. In this ruthless game of survival, justice is a fragile ideal, rarely achieved and easily destroyed.

I knew this well. Since the First Impact, when 9% of the population began to develop superhuman abilities known as "Sico," the world had become an even crueler place. Those gifted with these abilities were respected, while the rest were relegated to the shadows, considered little more than spectators in a game they could never play.

Lacking any special ability, I had been betrayed by those who promised to help me. I believed I could contribute to society in some meaningful way, but I was only cast aside for being less important than the others.

But the injustice doesn't stop there. In every corner of the world, the suffering of the innocent is evident. Poverty, discrimination, corruption, and violence are omnipresent, affecting those who least deserve it. Hungry children on the streets, exploited workers, the sick without access to medical care, all are victims of a system that repeatedly fails to protect the most vulnerable.

On the brink of death, I reflected on these cruelties until:

"Let's play a game of chess," said an unexpected voice in my darkest moment. "But if you lose, I will kill you and your sister."

Part of me thought this was a death wish, but another part believed it would change my life forever. With every move, every strategy, I would prove that even those without abilities can change the world.
