Standing in front of the guest chamber, Malgarius hesitated. Suddenly, he heard approaching footsteps and moved instinctively into the shadows.

It was Agatha, one of his loyal servants. She entered the girl's chamber, her presence commanding attention as she closed the door softly behind her.

He stood silently for a moment, his eyes lingered on the door for a moment as if willing himself to see through it. His mind swirled with thoughts of the girl inside, the one who had saved his life all those years ago. He knew he couldn't stay hidden forever; he had to face her eventually. But for now, he would wait and watch, ensuring her safety from afar.

Following a moment of silence, Malgarius made the decision to head back to his room. Before long, he would get another opportunity to see her.
