Real World

When Adam awakens from the game, the first thing he feels is intense thirstiness and hunger that would have usually been impossible even if you starve yourself for a whole day.

Adam gets out of bed, walks weakly to the kitchen, and takes out a bottle of water from the fridge. After downing 4 bottles of water, he finally feels better. He then takes out the bag of apples and eggs in the refrigerator.

Adam turns on the stove and eats a whole bag of apples while frying the eggs. Even then he still feels hungry and makes a few sandwiches with the eggs.

Adam spends some time eating and the amount of food that he has just eaten will make a person with obesity blush. After finishing all the food he finally felt full and energized.

He cleans the kitchen and finally realizes that he hasn't checked the time yet. He walks back to his bedroom and on the way, he is shocked to see that the sky outside is already dark. He hurriedly rushes to find his phone and sees that the time is 8.00 pm. He unlocks his phone and sees that there are a ton of messages from Allen and a few of his friends. He opens the chat and sees that the first message sent is at 6.00 pm. YESTERDAY. He has been playing the games for a whole day now.

After replying to all his friends, Adam finally sits down on his couch and scrolls through social media. Apparently, a lot of people also experience the same thing as him. This raises concern among the people, thus bringing the official account of Terra to make a statement. They explained that the people who play the game will only be allowed to play based on their physical capabilities. If they exceed it, the game will immediately kick them out and put them on a temporary ban for a minimum of 1 day depending on the player's real life body. Even for the players who have peak human physical, the game will only allow the player to play for 3 whole days max.

Seeing the statement, Adam is relieved since that means he will not be at risk of dying of thirst or hunger while playing the game. Adam continues to scroll through social media and for most of the things Adam sees, they are all talking about Terra.

One thing Adam notes is that if someone dies in Terra, they will be deducted 1 whole level. Killing other players will also put a red skeleton mark on you if you initiate the fight. Under that mark, all NPCs will have their favorability towards you reduced. Finally, they are all talking about a player named Adam White who has been dominating the Combat Power Ranking although he is not even on the Level Ranking and Wealth Ranking anymore.

Looking at all the players online who are either trying to find him or trying to impersonate him, Adam just laughs and lets it be. Suddenly, an unknown number texted him.

"Hello, are you the Adam White that is famous currently?"

Adam looks at the text curiously and decides to reply.

"Hello, I am certainly Adam White but I don't know if I'm the famous one."

"You are certainly famous now sir. Haven't you checked the online hot news yet?"

"Yes, I have. But how are you sure that I am the one?"

"We have agents that play in your village that remember your appearance, sir. That's how we are sure you are one."

Looking at the text messages, Adam is both intrigued and a little scared. This guy is not a stalker, right?

"You say agents. Who are you exactly?"

"My name is Rachel and I am an agent from the Ministry Of Gaming."

"Ministry Of Gaming? Are you kidding me?"

"I'm sorry if it's offends you, sir. But if you wish to know more about our Ministry, then you could check it out the official websites of the Federation Of Earth."

Adam looks weirdly at the messages and opens the official website of FOE. On the main page, the poster for a brand new ministry called the Ministry Of Gaming is formed. The function of the ministry is apparently to recruit players to somehow work and play for the federation.

Adam then opened up the messaging app and replied to Rachel.

"Ummm, okay. So what do you need from me?"

"We would like to recruit you to join our ministry, sir."

"You do know I am 19 right? I don't even have a degree. Hell, I'm a dropout. And isn't this ministry is like a guild or something?"

"Yes, sir. We do know that you are 19. We also know that you don't have a degree and are a dropout. And yes, we are planning to form a guild in the future. The reason that we decided to recruit you is because of the potential that the ministry sees in you. We hope that you can join us and we will help you become the best player in Terra."

"I'm sorry but I can't join the ministry. I have decided to cooperate with my friend to build a guild."

"I see. I'm sorry for wasting your time, sir. If you ever decide to join us, we will always welcome you."

Seeing that Rachel stops responding, Adam releases a breath of relief. He doesn't have anything against the federation. It's just that Adam doesn't wish to become a government official. Adam then locks his phone and takes a shower. The last time he took a shower was yesterday and he smells like a wet shirt left in a closet.

After Adam has done showering, he takes his wallet and goes to a convenience store to buy some food. On the way, Adam realizes that his body might be a little stronger and faster. His stamina and recovery ability is also a little better now. He doesn't know what's happening but what he does know is that he is for sure happy.

The trip to and back from the convenience store is uneventful. When Adam arrives back home, he refills his refrigerator with water bottles and puts some on his bedside table. After that, Adam relaxes on the couch and watches some shows while snacking on the food. He doesn't need rest as his body is fully rested while playing the game. Well, it might be a little too rested but it's fine. Adam continues his activity while snacking right until 4.00 am. Adam decides to log in back into the game and meet up with Ferdinez.
