Chapter 297: "Then You Might As Well Die, Su Bai Overwhelms with Strength!"

The gorilla soul beast and the giant python soul beast exchanged glances and instantly saw the same thought in each other's eyes.

"Run!"

The person before them was no longer someone they could handle.

Such dangerous information needed to be reported to Rama as soon as possible.

However, just as they were about to run away, Su Bai's voice exploded in their minds.

"You won't escape."

The giant python soul beast widened its eyes and, without hesitation, started to slither away at high speed.

The gorilla soul beast quickly grabbed onto a tree branch and used the momentum to swiftly flee.

Their strategy was clear: split up. As long as one of them could reach Rama alive, it would be considered a success.

But Su Bai wasn't about to let them escape so easily.

Su Bai closed his eyes, and the breeze rustled the grass around him. Then, a ripple swiftly spread out from him.

Everything the ripple touched appeared in Su Bai's mind.

And the ripple's speed far surpassed that of the gorilla and giant python soul beasts.

In no time, Su Bai had already sensed the gorilla soul beast's position.

"Got you," Su Bai said with a devilish smile.

The next second, he appeared right in front of the fleeing gorilla soul beast.

The gorilla soul beast, unprepared for Su Bai's sudden appearance, crashed straight into him.

However, the enormous creature felt as if it had hit an immovable wall.

"Im... impossible... I have steel skin!" The gorilla soul beast's eyes widened like brass bells, and then it felt a dull pain in its chest, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Su Bai then flashed to the falling gorilla soul beast's side.

He placed a hand on the gorilla soul beast's chest.

The next second.

The giant gorilla soul beast was brought to the open space in front of the tent.

Su Bai extended his hand, controlling a small whirlwind to pin the gorilla soul beast to the ground.

"Now you can't run," Su Bai said with a smile. "Fresh monkey brains are the best."

He licked his lips and then looked in the direction the giant python had escaped.

"Hmph, don't think you're so strong. Our master will avenge us!" the gorilla soul beast threatened in a booming voice.

Su Bai didn't even bother to look at it. "Don't worry, your master will join you soon enough."

"Unless he submits to me."

The next second, Su Bai found the giant python soul beast.

With a flash, Su Bai appeared before the giant python and grabbed its vulnerable spot.

The giant python soul beast didn't dare move.

Grabbing this spot meant injury, and grabbing the seven-inch mark meant death.

"You're even easier to catch than the gorilla," Su Bai said with a smile next to the python's head.

Then he brought the python back to the camp.

Only then did they finally understand what kind of being Rama had sent them to eliminate.

"My lord, we were only following our master's orders. We didn't really want to harm you..." The giant python soul beast was now trembling with fear.

The gorilla soul beast remembered what Su Bai had said earlier.

It quickly said sincerely, "If we are willing to submit, does that mean we don't have to die..."

Su Bai smiled and said, "No, you must die. After all, you're not being controlled."

When Su Bai caught these two hundred-thousand-year-old soul beasts, he had already checked their minds.

There were no needles like the one found in the wolf's head.

This meant they were acting of their own free will.

"But... but we didn't harm you..." the gorilla soul beast continued.

"Yes, yes, we are willing to submit, please spare our lives..." the giant python soul beast hurriedly added.

Su Bai laughed loudly. "Do you know why you must die?"

"We... we don't know..."

The giant python soul beast responded quietly.

"It's because you set your sights on my women. That's your death sentence!" Su Bai's face gradually turned cold.

In fact, he had heard all their discussions from the beginning.

When he heard they wanted to harm his women, he had already sentenced them to death in his mind.

"We... we didn't know they were your women..." the gorilla soul beast insisted.

The giant python soul beast had already seen through it and sighed. "So, no matter what, we must die..."

Su Bai nodded. "Yes, but you can choose a painless death or a death filled with torment."

"No! We choose neither!"

In an instant.

The giant python and gorilla soul beasts roared at Su Bai.

The sound waves were so powerful that they could shatter the bones of ordinary soul beasts.

But for Su Bai, an ancient dragon, it was just like a tickle.

"Do you have any more tricks to entertain me?" Su Bai stretched lazily.

Seeing their combined attack fail, the eyes of the giant python and gorilla soul beasts turned vicious.

"This is your doing. If you had killed us separately, you might have survived," the gorilla soul beast said, its eyes glowing red as several spirit rings appeared behind it.

"That was your last chance. Now, it's our turn to kill you!" The giant python soul beast also revealed its spirit rings.

Its eyes glowed red too.

Not only that, their spirit rings began to shine.

"Interesting," Su Bai stood still. "I'll see how powerful your ultimate move is."

"Ultimate soul skill, fusion!"

The giant python and gorilla soul beasts roared at Su Bai.

A blinding light shone.

Su Bai felt the earth tremble.

"You're the first human to witness the power of our ultimate soul skill," the gorilla's voice echoed.

When the light faded, a bizarre creature appeared before Su Bai, with a gorilla body and a giant python as its tail.

The gorilla's body was noticeably stronger than before.

The end of the tail was the python's head.

It was a two-headed monster.

The python's head swung around from behind. "This is our strongest form!"

Su Bai looked at the enormous soul beast.

He sighed and shook his head. "You made one mistake."

"What was that?"

Both the gorilla and giant python soul beasts asked simultaneously.

"Though it might sound like I'm insulting myself," Su Bai said calmly, "I'm not human."

"Roar!"

A clear dragon roar echoed.

An ancient dragon's phantom rose behind Su Bai.

"Sorry, but if this is all you have, then you might as well die."
