The animosity between Jake and Cole began with a simple misunderstanding. During a class art project in first grade, Jake accidentally ruined Cole's meticulously crafted drawing. Enraged, Cole lashed out at Jake, who responded just as fiercely, feeling both embarrassed and indignant. From that moment, a fierce rivalry was born. They vied for the top spot in every social setting, sporting event, and classroom activity. Friends and family quickly learned to avoid involving the two boys in the same activities, as it inevitably led to heated disputes.
As they grew older, their rivalry only intensified. In middle school, they often found themselves on opposing teams in sports, each pushing themselves to the limit to outdo the other. In academics, they competed for the highest grades, the lead roles in school plays, and even positions in student council. Teachers and coaches tried to mediate, but their efforts were often in vain.
"I am so tired, dude," Cole said as he walked out of class with his best friend. Zack" So, are you going to come to the party?"
"No, I'm just going to stay in the dorm and read a book."
"Come on, man, don't be boring,"Zack said with a smile.
"Fine," Cole said, laughing. As he walked, he then bumped into a tall, handsome guy.
"I am sorry."
"It's okay," the guy said.
The boys locked eyes with each other
Cole felt a strange flutter in his chest, something he hadn't experienced before. The guy's piercing blue eyes seemed to see right through him, making him feel both exposed and intrigued.
"I'm Jason, by the way," the guy said, extending his hand with a warm smile.
"Cole," he replied, shaking Jason's hand. The touch sent a jolt of electricity through him, and he found himself holding on just a second too long.
"Nice to meet you, Cole. Maybe I'll see you at the party tonight?" Jason suggested, his eyes twinkling with interest.
"Uh, yeah, maybe," Cole stammered, feeling his cheeks heat up.
As Jason walked away, Cole's best friend nudged him playfully. "Looks like you might have a reason to come to the party after all," he teased.
Cole watched Jason disappear
'' he is so cute the way I want to ride him and the way i want his hands on my neck Cole could not control his thoughts
"Cool down, tiger," Zack said, laughing."But for some reason, something is going to happen," Cole said."Like what?" Zack said, while
looking at his phone.
"Is it because Jake's going to be there?" Zack teased, glancing up from his phone.
"Maybe," Cole admitted, rolling his eyes. "You know we don't get along." And he likes to get under my skin. It was like he was born to piss me off
"Come on, Cole, it's just a party. Try to relax and have some fun," Zack encouraged.
Cole muttered something under his breath.
"Ignore him. Focus on enjoying the night with the rest of us," Zack said, putting a reassuring hand on Cole's shoulder.
