The two days passed with agonizing slowness for Roland. Despite the peacefulness of the forest and the familiarity of his cave, the anticipation of his new rewards gnawed at him. He spent the time reflecting on the battles he had fought, the strategies that had worked, and those that had not. Occasionally, he practiced his combat skills, ensuring that his body remained sharp and ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
During those two days, Roland couldn't help but think about his friends. He wondered where Kai, Lucy, and David had ended up and hoped they were safe. Each night, he would sit by the entrance of his cave, staring up at the stars, thinking about the battles they had fought together and the promise they had made to reunite.
Finally, the morning of the second day arrived, and as the first rays of sunlight filtered through the trees, Roland heard Daisy's voice.
"the system upgrade is complete. Please tab yes continue"
Roland sprang to his feet, his heart pounding with excitement as he quickly tapped on the hologram
"Yes, Daisy! Show me what I've got."
"Welcome to system 3.0. please get yourself familiar to the new features of the system," Daisy said, her voice now containing more emotions then before. " several enhancements have been added to aid you on your journey."
A series of notifications appeared in Roland's vision, detailing the new system features:
1. Mission Log: A new feature where Roland can receive missions from the system. Completing these missions will reward him with game points.
2. Game Points: A currency system introduced for purchasing items from the system shop. Game points can be earned by completing missions and killing enemies.
3. System Shop:A shop where Roland can buy various items based on his level. Higher levels unlock more powerful items.
"Let's check out the Mission Log first," Roland said, intrigued.
A new interface appeared before him, displaying a list of available missions. Each mission had a description, difficulty level, and the number of game points it would reward upon completion.
Mission Log:

" Please complete these missions to receive more missions"
"Looks like the points will be used in system shop," Roland commented, already planning how he would tackle these missions. His thoughts wandered to the big fire bear he had encountered on his first day in Pandora. It had seemed almost invincible at the time, but now, with his new powers and rewards, Roland felt ready for a rematch. "That bear might just be the area boss," he mused.
"Now, let's see the System Shop," Roland continued.
The shop interface appeared, showcasing a variety of items available for purchase:
System Shop (Level 1):( upgrades with Host's cultivation.)

"Some of these could be really useful," Roland mused. "But it looks like I'll need to earn a lot of points to get the best items."
"Do you want to open your rewards now?" Daisy said, as Roland agreed
A series of notifications appeared in Roland's vision, detailing his new rewards from the recent battles:

"Wow, that's quite the haul," Roland said, grinning from ear to ear. "Let's start with the experience points. How many kills did I get in Round 2, Daisy?"
"You had a total of 34 kills in Round 2," Daisy responded. "Adding 3400 experience points into Your cultivation."
Roland felt a surge of power as the experience points were added to his total. He looked at this attributes on the display.

Roland divided rest of the attributes equally into all.
He could feel his abilities growing stronger, his skills more refined. "Perfect. Now, let's open the Mystery Chest."
A glowing chest materialized in front of Roland, and with a touch, it opened to reveal its contents: a sleek, silver dagger with an intricate design etched into the blade.
Mystery Chest Reward:
- Silverfang Dagger: A lightweight, incredibly sharp dagger forged with rare meteorite, it very extremely hard with the ability to poison enemies on contact.
"Impressive," Roland murmured, testing the dagger's weight in his hand. It felt perfectly balanced, almost like an extension of his own arm. "This will come in handy."
"Next, let's see the Advantage Healing Potions," he said.
Roland watched as 34 small, crystalline vials appeared before him, each filled with a shimmering blue liquid. He picked one up and marveled at it. "70% total healing. This could be a game-changer in future battles."
"And finally," Roland continued, "the Sub-Class Scroll."
A scroll appeared in Roland's hand, its parchment glowing with a soft, golden light. Unfurling it, he saw a list of potential sub-classes he could choose from:
Sub-Classes:
1. Shadow Assassin: Enhanced stealth and critical strike abilities.
2. Battle Mage: Access to powerful offensive and defensive spells.
3. Beastmaster:Ability to summon and control animals.
4. Guardian: Increased defensive capabilities and protective auras.
Roland considered his options carefully. Each sub-class had its own unique advantages, but he needed to choose one that complemented his existing skills and the challenges he anticipated.
"If I choose Shadow Assassin, my stealth and critical strike abilities would be unmatched. But, it might be too specialized," Roland thought. "Beastmaster would be useful for controlling animals, but I don't know if it fits my current fighting style. Guardian would give me great defensive abilities, but offense is also crucial."
He pondered over the Battle Mage option. "Having access to powerful offensive and defensive spells would significantly increase my arsenal. I'm already a hunter, so adding magic would make me incredibly versatile."
After weighing the pros and cons, Roland made his decision. "I think... I'll go with Battle Mage," he decided. The thought of having powerful spells at his disposal was too enticing to pass up.
"Excellent choice," Daisy said. "Your sub-class abilities will now be integrated into your skill set."
Roland felt a rush of energy as the new abilities settled within him. He could sense the latent power of magic at his fingertips, ready to be unleashed. "This is incredible," he said, clenching his fists and feeling the magic pulse through him.
"You're now a Battle Mage, Mana +40 added to your current attribute," Daisy said. " Let me show you your new skills."
A new set of skills appeared in Roland's vision:
Battle Mage Skills:
1. Fire Blast:Blasts fire at the enemy, causing significant damage.
2. Meditation:Recovers mana at 2x the normal rate, allowing for sustained spellcasting.
3. Fire Arrow: Produces an arrow made of fire. The more mana used, the more powerful the arrow becomes.
Roland tested his new skills, summoning a small ball of fire in his hand and then releasing it in a fiery blast. The power was exhilarating, and he could already see how useful these skills would be in combat.
"These are fantastic," Roland said, grinning. "Thank you, Daisy."
"You're welcome, Host."
Roland nodded, determination burning in his eyes. "It's time to become stronger, to prepare for whatever comes for the round 3."
With his new abilities and rewards, Roland felt more prepared than ever for the challenges ahead. He knew that the path to victory would be long and arduous, but he was ready to face it head-on. With Daisy by his side and the strength of his new powers, he was confident that he could overcome any obstacle that stood in his way.
As he took a step forward, Roland felt a sudden wave of exhaustion wash over him. The excitement of the rewards and the anticipation of using them had kept him awake for most of the two days. Now that he had received his upgrades, his body reminded him of the rest it desperately needed.
"I need to get some sleep," Roland said, rubbing his eyes. "It's been a long couple of days.".
Sleep came quickly, and Roland's dreams were filled with visions of battles yet to be fought and victories yet to be won.
When he awoke, the sun was already high in the sky. Feeling refreshed and invigorated, Roland stretched and stepped out of his cave. The forest around him was alive with the sounds of nature, the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves creating a peaceful symphony.
"Time to get to work," he said to himself, determination etched on his face. "I'll start with the smaller missions, and then it's time to take down that bear."

With Daisy by his side and the strength of his new powers, he was confident that he could overcome any obstacle that stood in his way.
