Now! I was that man…

Sebastian POV

They say we become who raise us and I think that should be the most valid statement I've ever heard.

Because I was slowly morphing into my father – Theodore Grey.

Sebastian at 15 – L.A

The night air was thick with humidity, an aftermath of the summer sun that shone bright earlier. I trudged home from my late-night shift at the local diner. My feet ached from attending to a lot of customers – most of which were tourists, visiting for the summer holidays.

It was a blessing to me since I always came home with a pocket filled with tips but I was tired too. I couldn't believe, I'd have to do all of these, over and over again until the summer break ended. There were mouths to feed – since my mom's income was barely enough to give us two good meals each day. There were bills to pay and my family to protect.
